I woke up from the sound of a quiet giggle, followed by someone jumping on my big, white, fluffy doona.
"Wake up princess"a quiet voice said. It was Ashton.
"Why?" I groaned, pulling the covers over my head "I'm sleeping"
"Because," he said, finding his way to under the sheets next to me "it's the first day of your school holidays, and it's Michael's birthday"
"Yeah, well happy birthday, but I'm sleeping" I said, lazily rolling over to face him, as he hugged me. "Anyway, how did you get in here? Marcus hates you"
"Your dad let me in. He seems nice"
"He's nice for a grizzly bear. And did you tell him.. You know.. About us?" I asked
"Yeah, he wants to talk you later. But then he just started yelling at your mum, so I let myself up here"
"Oh" I groaned "he'll have a whole speech of what I can and can't do ready for me by tonight"
"I'm not that bad am I?" He laughed.
"No it's not you. It's the concept that you're my boyfriend now. And my first. So there are 'rules'."
"Oh ok" he laughed, pulling me closer to him. "Am I really your first."
"Yeah, who'd want me to be their girlfriend"
"I do," he whispered, kissing my nose. "Your so beautiful though, English boys must be blind"
"You have to say that"
"I say it because I really mean it"
"Thanks" Ismiled. "Do we have to get up?" I pouted.
"No, I'm comfy" Ashton said
"Ok, so now that you're comfy, I get to stay here" I teased.
"Yep" he smiled.
Everyone of the boys and me had jobs to do today. Ashton and I had to go to the shop to pick up the cake for Michael, and then to buy him a present. After ages of browsing and desperation of wanting to find 'the perfect present' finally decided on one. Then we went to get the cake that had been ordered for him. Chocolate, with strawberries and cream in top, Calum's choice.
As we were walking past the shop window, I saw someone I knew. He was called Tomas. He used to go to my school, and is a year older. And out of all the 8.86 million people people in London who could have worked in the shop, it was him. And believe me, I really didn't need to see him today.
"Uh, Ashton, I'll wait outside." I mumbled.
"Why? What's wrong?" He asked, as I saw Tomas go out the back of the shop.
"Nothing, let's go" I said, stepping into the shop.
Ashton asked the lady at the counter to bring out the cake, as I waited next to him. When it came, the lady didn't serve us, but Tomas did. Just my luck.
"Here is your cake" he said, as he caught my eye. Fabulous. Just fabulous.
"Emma?" He asked.
"Shit " I cursed under my breath "Ash, let's go"
"Emma? Don't you remember me? Your boyfriend who-"
"Ashton was quick to burst into the conversation. "I think you might be a little confused."
"Oh I remember you perfectly clear Tomas. And I am not your girlfriend" I said, clinging onto Ashton's arm, and leading him out of the shop.
