Chapter 10: Something new

Lucas's P.O.V.

I stretch as I get out of the comfort of my bed, Blake still fast asleep. I has been a week since my discharge from the hospital. I look at the time, 6:45 a.m. Yup, my morning mind still likes to wake me up. Good thing too. I went to bed early to wake up early to day, (Even though it wouldn't matter.)

I went downstairs to make a light breakfast. My phone went off on the kitchen counter. I was still in my boxers. I see what it was and it was a text from Crystal Waters (Blake's mom).

I know you got released from the hospital a week ago, but I have someone here that wants to talk to you. the text read.

Okay, I'll be there in two hours with Blake. I sent looking for something I could use to make breakfast. My phone buzzed. I look at it and it was an unknown number.

You think we could meet up in 1 hour instead of 2? It read. "Who is this guy? and did Crystal give him my number?" I got a little mad but knowing Ms. Waters, she has her reasons as to why she does what she does.

That's fine. Where do you want to meet up. I sent to the unknown number while getting a text from Crystal. I'm sorry Lucas but I think it's time you met the man who just texted you.

"What is her reasoning?" I got a reply from the unknown number. Is Crystal's house okay for you? "Why meet there?" Uh..y-yeah sure. I'll be there in an hour with company. I reply. Immediately i get a response.  Okay, I can't wait to meet you Lucas.

40 minutes later

"Babe it's almost time we head to your mothers house!" I yell getting my phone and laptop in a bag. "Be right down baby" Blake yells as he starts to walk out of my, no, our room. I'm STILL getting use to living with Blake. 

"Blake are you ready to go?" I yell getting my keys and stand by the door. "Yes baby, be right down." he said while coming into view. He had black pants with a red shirt on. I had khaki pants on with a blue shirt on.

"Lets go honey" I say as I kiss him and open the door. We get into the car and I start it up. "Why are we going to my mom's so early anyways?" Blake asked before we pull out the driveway.

No, I didn't tell Blake why we were going so early. I just told him we needed to go to his mom's in an hour and he went along. Now that he's asking for details... "Okay, I'll tell you on the way there. Can we get going first babe?" "Yeah, sure whatever makes you comfortable cutie." said Blake not wanting to press the subject.

We arrive at Blake's mom's house with a corvette in the driveway. "Who else is here?" Blake asked. "I don't know babe, lets just hope that they won't cause any trouble." I said a little nervous.

As soon as I park the car, Mrs. Waters opened the door to greet us. "I'm glad you could come Lucas. Hi baby." She said as she hugs me then Blake. "Come inside, I want you two to meet someone, especially you Lucas."

She ushers us inside to a fur that looks oddly...familiar.

"Hey Lucas, do you remember me?"
