Lucas's P.O.V.

I wake up to my alarm going off at 6:00 a.m. I like to get up early because I like the early morning. I get up and go to the bathroom to shower.

As I undress I look at myself in the mirror.  A white wolf with a grey tail tip, dark hair with a little blue and I'm 5'4".

I turn the shower on and immediately get in. I like hot showers but the cold water helps ease my pain. For the past 8 years my parents death has been bothering me. I get nightmares every night and can't shake the uneasy feeling of the unknown.

I take a quick shower then get out and dress quickly as well. There are quite a few cute guys at my school but i don't talk to anyone, I'm antisocial.

I go downstairs to see what I've got to eat. "Maple brown sugar oatmeal sounds good." Not very filling, but it does the job of satisfying my hunger until lunch.

I get my keys and head to school. I get there and just chill outside with a nice cool breeze blowing through the air. The temperature was around 80 degrees Fahrenheit so the breeze helps.

I gather my things and stand up. I start to walk towards the music building, my head still down trying to put my phone in my bag. I bump into someone sending me to my butt. "Sorry there I didn't see you" a wolf with dark and light shades of blue all over had said.

"You're fine, at least I didn't break anything" my phone next to me on the floor with a few scratches. The wolf stretches his hand out and I gladly take it. As he helps me up I finally look at his face. What a sight for sore eyes.

His face had a light to dark shade of blue with golden eyes that had a honey feel to it. Unfortunately I was caught staring because he surprised me. "Well I didn't expect to run into a fine looking wolf here at this school" he said with a warm smile.

"The names Blake Waters" puts his hand out. " Mine's L-Lucas White nice to m-meet you." I stutter out blushing. Blake chuckles. I blush a little deeper.

The bell rings for the first hour of school. "Life saver" I thought. "I hope to catch you around later. See ya!" He turns and heads for class. "See ya" wanting to leave already I head to class.

I get to class with only seconds to spare. I have band first period. I play an instrument called the "Marimba" (google it if you don't know) and it is my favorite thing to play.

Most of the time the teacher wants me to play something else but, like a lot of my peers, she believes i'm mute. I'm very creative when it comes to the marimba.

If the music doesn't have a marimba part, I make up my own. By the end of the class everyone, including the teacher, all say that i shouldn't be underestimated behind a marimba.

All day I didn't run into that Blake guy. He was cute. As I turn to head home I hear an unfamiliar voice call my name.

"Hey Lucas wait up!" I turn around to see Blake run up to me. Now that I have time to take a good look at Blake, his physical appearance is incredible. He had a well built body, was at least 5'8".

His eyes meet mine and I start to blush. I turn my head pretending to look as if something caught my eye, it didn't work. "You look cute when you blush." Blake chuckles a little. I blush deeper with an urge to run.

"I wanted to get to know you a bit better since I almost broke your phone earlier." Blake said with a friendly smile. I was blushing and couldn't move from what i was feeling.

"Am I falling for him?" I think to myself still not able to respond. "Are you okay?" Blake said with a worried expression.

I shake my head as I'm brought back by Blake calling me. "Were you waiting for you parents to come pick you up or do you drive?"

"I'm sorry" I said as I run to my car and drive home, the accident rushing back to me like a tsunami.

Flashback

The car crashes, I get pulled out, I see the car explode with my parents inside. Bright flames engulf the entire car.

Present Lucas's P.O.V.

I get home, rushed to my room and cried into my pillow. I blackout from crying at some point.
