I just escaped SAO and I got Asuna out of Alfheim Online. All the survivors of Sword Art Online, including my girlfriend, Asuna are in a special program to help us recover from that death trap. I'm heading over to a local bar to see what Klein and Agil want to do for me. Asuna is by my side as always. As soon as I entered the bar, I saw all my friends who survived the game.
"Hey guys." I said as I entered. I was suprised to see so many others here.
"Kirito, Asuna. I'm glad you two could make it. It wouldn't be a celebration without our two main people." Klein said as he handed me a glass of whiskey.
"What's the big occasion?" Asuna asked me as if I knew.
"I don't-" I begun, but Agil cut me off.
No pov.
"We celebrating the fact of us escaping and shutting down Sword Art Online. And the friendships that were made along the way." Agil replied to Asunas question before Kirito could answer.
"To Kirito and Asuna!" The whole bar cheered.
Everyone had a good time, then Kirito amd Asuna had to excuse themselves early. They made their way to the campus where the rehabilitation program takes place. Klein and the others followed shortly. On the way back, Asuna saw something on a television set in a shop that made her blood go cold.
"Reports of missing survivors from the Sword Art Online program continues to concern the public. If anyone knows the location of any of these people, please report to the nearest police station or authority immediately. We advise all other survivors to stay on the grounds of the rehabilitation program they attending, and not leave the grounds between dusk and dawn for their safety." A reporter said sternly as Asuna gasped and told Kirito to look at the report.
"Kirito... we should get back now!" Asuna said in a panic, getting more worried about Kirito than herself at the moment.
"Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you. But I agree, we should get back soon." He said sternly as Klein came rushing past.
"Klein?" Asuna asked as he turned around and warned them.
"Kirito! Asuna! Run! There's something big headed this way, it seems to be targeting certain people, namely the survivors of SAO! Run!" He said as he took off, then Agil and Lisbeth rushed past without a word. Asuna and Kirito ran as fast as possible, then saw Lisbeth get shot with a stun gun of some type. Asuna was next to go down. Klein got stunned and ripped backwards, past Kirito who looked around in shock. He went down last as he saw a massive creature that seemed human, but using weapons beyond Earths capability. After he hit the ground everything went black.

When Kirito woke up, he was alone in a place that looked familiar, yet different.
"Shit... where am I?" He asked himself as he slowly stood up and looked around.
"What!? This can't be possible!" He mentally yelled at himself.
"I thought the SAO server got shut down! I need to find Asuna!" He almost cried as he ran through a field in a random direction.
Meanwhile:
Asuna and Klein just came to aftera while, they looked at each other and then at their surroundings after making sure they are okay. They both started panicking after getting familiar vibes from the area.
"Gotta find Kirito!" Asuna said to herself as she ran in a random direction. Klein followed close bejind her as they ran and came across a city. Then they realised they have their swords from Sword Art Online.
Lisbeth isn't doing any better as she just woke up.
"Klein!? Asuna!? Kirito!?" She yelled in a panic. She looked next to her and found the sword she made for Kirito back on the server.
As Kirito ran, he saw Lisbeth trembling from a panic attack.
"Liz!" Kirito shouted in relief.
"Kirito! This is it, isn't it? We're back in that damned place aren't we!?" She yelled in fear.
"I- I don't know. I think so, but the server got shut down after everyone escaped. It can't be." Kirito said in a state of confusion.
Lisbeth broke down. She was devastated that after two years of not seeing her family and friends, it had to begin again.
"What about Klein, Asuna or the others?" She asked with a mixture of fear and anger.
"I... I don't know. If they are here, we have to find them fast." Kirito replied as Lisbeth nodded and slowly regained her composure. They began to sprint in one direction then came across what looked to be a city. They looked for a way in, and eventually entered the city.
"You think they in here somewhere?" Kirito asked with intent.
"Well, this seems like the only city for days, and if we spawned near here, it's the best chance we have of finding them." Lisbeth said sternly, feeling anxious about the whole setting. It feels too familiar, too much like Sword Art.
They kept walking for a while, then decided to ask for help. Kirito and Lisbeth approached someone.
"Hello sir. Sorry to bother you, but have you maybe seen these two people around?" Kirito asked as he pulled out a picture of Asuna and Klein.
"No, sorry. Maybe you could try Beacon? They look like a Huntsman and a Huntress." The man said casually.
"Alright. Thank you. Have a good day." Kirito said as he approached another man further down.
"Excuse me sir, have you by any chance seen these two people?" Kirito asked again.
"Yes I have. They went down that way. I'm Y/N." You said casually.
"Thank you sir, I'm Kirito. This is Lisbeth. Oh, and one more thing." He asked cautiously.
"What is Beacon? I'm not really from around here and heard a guy mention it when I walked past." He asked again.
"It's a school that trains the next generation of warriors to protect this world. How about I show you around after reuniting you with those people?" You said in a friendly tone.
"I would appreciate that. Thank you so much sir." Kirito replied with a smile as you escorted them around the city.
That's all for this first chapter guys! I know this seems a little rushed, please forgive me for that part, there was so much going on this side and I had to make some progress so I did just type the first thing on my mind. Please let me know what you think in the comments.
