"Y/N?" Kirito called you to explain the whole story.

"Yeah?" You replied, feeling better from your talk with Klein yesterday.

"You want to know what Sword Art Online is? And the real reasons as to why we don't know this place?" Kirito asked sternly.

"Yeah. Just so we're clear, I won't talk about this to anyone if it's as serious as you make it sound." You said casually.

"Alright. Here we go…" Kirito said unsteadily. Asuna held his hand for comfort as he prepared to tell him all about his experience.

"Sword Art Online was developed to be a fun, virtual reality game. I should know because I was a beta tester for the game. But something went wrong and the developer created it so that if you die in the game, you die in real life too. You also couldn't log out at anypoint. You had to clear the game to escape. Klein, Asuna, Lisbeth and I were stuck in there for two years before we escaped. Then something happened and we got put here and it is all so familar to me." Kirito said, his hand and voice shaking heavily.

"That's… hardcore." You said without a hint of disbelief.

"There's one more thing… yesterday was our first day here at this place because something happened where survivors of SAO were going missing. Then we had an encounter with something… something big." Kirito finished off, leaving you speechless.

"So the world of Remnant - this world - reminds you of that game? And you're pretty much not from here because of some kind of alien abduction?" You asked with a straight face.

"Yeah." The four of them said in unison.

"Sure, the alien abduction part seems a little extreme, but I know the look of truth when I see it." You remarked casually.

"So you don't think we're crazy?" Asuna asked cautiously.

"Not in the slightest. Oh yeah, before I forget… if you want to join Beacon, I'd recommend going now because enrolments end tomorrow." You said hastily.

"Thanks." Klein said as he shook your hand as they made their way out the door, then Lisbeth turned halfway.

"So how do we get there?" She asked before they all got completely lost.

"Take a left then go straight for five blocks, then take a right and carry on straight until you see a docking bay for airships, you can't miss it." You replied happily.

"Thanks so much! What are airships?" She asked inquisitively.

"They big silver/grey machines used for public transport. If you not sure, just ask someone. Don't be shy. Most of the people here aren't as arrogant as they let on." You half joked.

"That's reassuring." Lisbeth half joked back.

"Go on. You don't want to be late." You said, gaining a nod in return as she jogged to get back to her friends.

As they made their way to the airship, they saw a girl get robbed. Kirito, Asuna and Lisbeth ran to go help, while Klein was confused from what was going on, so he stared around blankly and tried to comprehend the situation, then followed shortly afterwards.

Without thinking, Kirito drew his sword and sprinted towards the criminal. When the attacker noticed he was being followed he pulled out a gun and fired behind him, causing civillians to flee. Kirito swung his sword out of instinct and cut the bullets in half. Asuna cut through an alley while Lisbeth trailed behind Kirito. Klein ran down the neighbouring street in hopes of cutting him off.

"Get on the ground! Don't make me do it!" Kirito yelled aggressively, but to no avail as he jumped a fence. As he exited an alley, Klein tackled him into a wall, followed by Lisbeth and Asuna holding him down to prevent him from escaping. He headbutted Asuna and kicked Lisbeths knee to the side. Just before he could get away Kirito jumped in and kicked the robber on the side of the face causing him to spit blood. He got on top of Kirito and pummeled him with brass knuckles until Klein tackled him off his feet a second time, giving Kirito, Asuna and Lisbeth enough time to draw their swords and surround the mysterious man. He put his hands up in surrender and then a mysterious man appeared.

???: "We'll take it from here. Thank you for your help mr?"

"Kirito. And you are?" He asked politely.

"I am Professor Ozpin. Seeing your skills today, and the skills of your friends, I would like to invite you to join Beacon Academy." The grey haired man said casually.

"I will take you up on that offer, thank you sir. This is Asuna, Klein and Lisbeth." Kirito said generously.

"Don't thank me just yet. You're combat skills will speak of wether you get a place in this school." Ozpin said cryptically as he excused himself and made his way to the police station with the criminal.

After everyone joined up at your apartment, they started going through all of what they need for Beacon.
As Kirito and his friends read through the list, you noticed they have confused faces as they read through.

"Aura? Semblence?" They asked skeptically.

"Aura and Semblence. A physical manifestation of the soul to defend and attack. It is mandatory." You replied casually. You were met with confused and worried faces.

"There's nothing wrong with it and it is painless to unlock. If you want I could try unlock yours? Though it will take time." You volunteered with a chuckle.

The four nodded in agreement. You proceeded, starting with Lisbeth.

Timeskip to the first day at Beacon:

"You ready for today?" You asked Kirito and the others.

"Ready as ever." They said without confidence. They have aura, but no semblence.

"I just hope our training pays off." Asuna said anxiously.

"Don't stress. I happen to know a guy who is big friends with Ozpin and if something happens then I will ask him to back you guys up." You saud confidently.

"As for your fighting, do you want to brush up on your skills quickly? The airship only leaves in five hours. We have time to brush up if you want?" You casually stated.

"Wording Y/N!" Klein laughed as he said this, causing you to try fix your mistake in an awkward fashion, causing everyone to laugh at your misery.

"I think we should put last minute training to a vote." Lisbeth said causally.

Everyone voted for the training session, and before you knew it you had one hour to get ready, so everyone cleaned up, packed, then made their way to the airship.

As the airship took off, you saw someone who looked too familiar, then it struck you…
