Kirito and Lisbeth just arrived at Beacons infirmary, you and your friends went in with them for support, and they got rushed into the operating room immediately. Asuna looked at you for comfort, so you assured her all would be fine. Klein gave you and her a funny look and you noticed it.

"You okay?" You asked him nervously.

"Yeah... don't worry about it. It's just the stress getting to me. Don't worry." He said in a downcast tone.

"Kirito and Lisbeth will be alright. I know it. The aura we transferred to them would have been enough to start healing them just enough to stabilise them." You said confidently.

"So they are garunteed to survive?" Asuna asked anxiously.

"Yes. They will be fine." You said with a confident smile.

"Thanks..." Asuna said, feeling guilty for not being able to heal him in time.

"I can't help but feel like this is my fault..." You said with a guilty expression.

"Why? You shouldn't." Klein said firmly.

"But I do. If I had rather taken this mission with my team, and told you to stay then we wouldn't be here! We would probably be laughing at stupid jokes in the cafeteria or..." You carried on, then Chloe cut you off.

"Stop blaming yourself! If they weren't with us then we wouldn't be here, you're right about that part. But we would probably be dead because she almost overpowered eight of us... four of us wouldn't have stood a chance." She said sternly.

"You're right. Sorry, I just feel like I'm responsible for this." You said seriously.

"The person responsible for this is dead. If anything Kirito and Lisbeth would probably be dead if it weren't for your quick thinking of the aura transfer." She said sternly.

"Miss Yuuki? You're the girlfriend right?" The doctor came out, asking around.

"Doctor! Is Kirito okay?" She asked with a sigh of relief.

"He is stable, so is your other friend. They are in a medically induced coma to keep them stable. The bullet hit Kirito in the Liver and nicked the lung. In Lisbeths case, the bullet pierced her lung and narrowly missed the spinal cord. If it weren't for your aura transfer then they would have been dead." The doctor said, getting straight to the point.

"Are we able to see them?" She asked directly.

"Unfortunately not at the moment. They just need a bit of time to recover, but as soon as they wake up I will gladly call you and your friends." The doctor said sternly.

"Alright. Thank you doctor." Asuna said with a bow as he nodded his head and went back to monitor their condition.

The next day:

You just woke up and went to the cafeteria early. Your plan is to head to town for the day to distract yourself fron overthinking the incident yesterday.

"Hey Y/N. You're up early." Asuna said casually as she grabbed a plate and dished up some food.

"Yeah, I'm planning to get an early start. You know. Maybe head to town to look for some upgrades and a new look." You said with a chuckle.

"Mind if I come with?" She asked casually.

"Sure. I could use the company." You said with a smile.

"Do you have any specific plans for your upgrade?" She asked.

"Yeah. I want to try get two chainsaw mods. From there I will integrate that at each end of my spear, then get two retractable blades and replace my original blades." You said with deep thought.
