Emma's pov:

*eight days later*

"why the hell is it so hot!? i was counting on weather man Jim to say today was a windy day...ergh" i moaned

"stop blaming it on weather man jim and start blaming it on gravity! cme on dude!" Kira complained back

Me and kira had our next period together, lunch our favourite subject of them all, whilst lizzy had whizzed of to maths since mr Douglas hated us being late. we were leaning against our lockers, tired of this endless heat wave. some girls walked past us with portable mini fans and kira yelled "why the hell don't we have some of them?" pointing rudely at the surprised girls

"hey kira, Ive been thinking about the zahra kid?" i said in a quiet tone

"yeah what about her man?" kira asked

"doesn't matter...." i murmured

I don't no why i chicken out because all i was going to say was she looked pretty cool and we should invite her to join us at our table.

Kira had always said that we could trust her and liz had taken tha advise but i was still afraid of the things that could happen to me if they laughed or said im stupid or any other thing that could hurt me since they were my best and only friends

Kira's Pov:

"umm....Emma man you ok?" i asked at the surprisingly quiet emma

"im fine stop worring about me, hey we'd better go and get lunch!" emma said in her usual perky voice that always lightens up the mood.
