Chapter 2: Shroud of the Dark Side

22 BBY, Coruscant, Jedi Temple, Dawn of the Clone Wars
Two years have passed since Evan's Knighting ceremony, during the past years, the Republic has grown fearful of an impending conflict, which had become so as Battle of Geonosis marked the beginning of the War the Jedi had feared, Evan had not been part of the Republic invasion force that was led to rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Senator Amidala from the hands of the Sith Lord Count Dooku, knowing that War was now inevitable, all he could do was just stand his ground, and fight for peace, not as a peacekeeper but as a defender and warrior.
After the first battle of the War, Evan had tried to seek answers, only to realize from Masters Kenobi and Yoda that the Dark Side was about to shroud the galaxy as he overheard them from a distance
"I have to admit without the clones it would not have been a victory"
"Victory?, Victory you say?, no, the shroud of the Dark Side has fallen, begun, the clone war has"
As much as he rather avoid war, there was no alternative, he now needed to be in the front lines.

22 BBY, 8 months into the Clone Wars
It hasn't really been long since the War started, and not much has happened in the front lines, Evan, in those 8 months had proven himself to actually be a capable leader and an inspirational general, he had acquired at least 5 victories from the Separatists due to his evolved military thinking and not to mention his skill as a Jedi, right now, he and the Republic 12th fleet were tasked with taking one of the few known routes between the Republic and Separatist homeworlds, to do so, they had to take the Outer Rim world of Eriadu, currently under heavy Separatist control, the opposing admiral was beginning to prepare his strategy to stop the Republic advance.
"Sir, the blockade is standing firm and all ships await your order" said the tactical droid, following its programming only
"We are to hold off the enemy here, we will not let a single ship slip past us" said the Separatist admiral, and soon enough he got a transmission from the planet below
"What is the status of the blockade, D'nat?"
"All ships are in position and we are at maximum defensive capability, we have become impenetrable"
"I must warn you to take caution, intelligence reports that it is General Valkirian leading the assault on our interests here on Eriadu, by all means necessary admiral, you must prevent Valkirian and his fleet from reaching the planet"
"I assure you Governor, nothing will get past me, and Valkirian will be no exception either"
The hologram shut off, with little time, he needed information regarding his mysterious opponent, or else he would end up facing execution.
"Ah, sir, we're detecting several ships entering the sector" said an overseer battle droid
"Prepare the fleet, it seems our enemy has comed after all, prepare our welcoming committee"
The tactical droid gave the order for all fighters to be prepared
"Sir, scans indicate that the incoming vessels are the Republic fleet"
"Well, were more than ready now, your turn now, Master Jedi"
