Purpose

For once, I feel like I was just liberated from an insane amount of stress and sadness.

"In today's news, the remaining members of EXO have decided to file a lawsuit against SM Entertainment."

"Breaking news!"

"SM Entertainment..."

"Lee Soo Man..."

"EXO, popular Korean boy group..."

"Kim Junmyeon... own company..."

We were all over the news.

I should be used to this, but I'm not.

It's even going international.

"What do you think is going to happen now?"

"We're going to work our hardest, Baekhyun. No matter what happens, we're going to try our hardest and do what we need to do."

Xiumin reached over to Baekhyun and held him close.

I'll never get used to them being together.

I'm happy for them, happy for everyone.

And finally.

"Guys, look at what's trending right now!

"Wow, I didn't know it was that big of a deal."

"Of course it's a big deal, you should really give yourself more credit!" Junmyeon laughed.

They laughed happily and scheduled to meet for the future.

"Hey, babe? Can we talk for a bit?" My heart started racing, but I nodded.

We left the room quietly and made our way to an empty bedroom.

"I wanted to talk to you about something?"

"What is it? Did I do something wrong?"

"No, my love. You didn't do anything. I actually wanted to talk to you about moving in completely. It's time we think about our relationship. We still have long ways ahead of us, but maybe moving in will give us a big step forward." 

He held my hands softly and stared fondly. I couldn't help but start crying.

"I would love to..." Lu looked worried for a second but his face lit up when I agreed.

Getting better?

Yeah, I'm getting better.

We went back to the large living area, and the rest were in pairs. Tao and Yifan were talking amongst themselves, both with earnest expressions.

Yixing and Junmyeon were talking, but instead of serious faces, they had blushing cheeks and silly smiles.

Baekhyun and Minseok, well they were asleep, but in each other's arms.

Everyone else was scattered, in their own bubbles and worlds.

This is what freedom feels like?

If it is, I never want to leave.

Every day, I asked myself why I felt like complete shit.

Why I was treated like complete shit.

Why I cried every single minute.

And I got my answer, my purpose.

My purpose for life...

It was right in front of me the entire time.
