Jodie's POV:
Ethan and I have been hanging out a lot lately. Not that I'm complaining, I love it! I'm honestly surprised we managed to last this long together. Usually after one date, guys would never text me again.

But that's ok, because I met the love of my life. And tonight he's taking me on a special trip to New York City! I've always wanted to go there, it just seems so amazing. All the tall buildings, all the people there. It's just magical.

It was finally around 5:00, and our flight to New York was leaving at 6. Ethan pulled up in my drive way and helped me carry my bags into the car. "I'm so fricken excited!!!" I said with a huge grin on my face as I hopped into the passenger seat.

"I can tell," he chuckled. "I can't wait for tonight. It's gonna be everything you imagined." He smiled at me as he put on his seat belt. "I love you," I said, leaning over to kiss him. "I love you more, Princess."

After a few hours, we finally arrived in NYC. It was cold and crowded—just what I imagined! "Wow," I say as I look up at the buildings. "I know, it's breathtaking. And beautiful," Ethan said, then looked at me. "Just like you," I smiled as he suddenly grabbed my hand without warning and dragged me through the streets.

"Ethan!!" I laughed as I ran along. "Where are you taking me??"
"You'll see!" Was all he said. We went to a couple of stores, and bought some cool souvenirs.

He bought me a hot chocolate after that, and then I didn't expect what was going to happen next. I froze when I saw a horse and buggy waiting outside. Ethan ran inside without hesitation. "Jodie, come on!" He said. I was just in too much of a shock to follow him.

"You set all this up...for me?" I asked in awe, as Ethan pulled me into the carriage. "Of course. You deserve the world, Jodie," he smiled at me and grabbed my hand as the horse began moving. I really do have the best boyfriend ever!

"This day has really been magical," I say as I take another bite of my spaghetti. Before our last stop of the day, which was a surprise according to Ethan. "Really? Or are you just saying that? Because I want it to be everything you dream of." He said with that charming smile.

"I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it," I said with a wink. "Why are you doing all this for me, anyway? It's not my birthday or anything. I mean not that I'm complaining, but—it was kind of just out of no where," I asked with a chuckle. Ethan smirked. I didn't know if that meant something good or bad.

"You're gonna see at our last special place."
I looked at him with a raised eyebrow, then laughed.

The horse and buggy came back and took us to the place I thought I would never be able to see in person—the huge Christmas tree!

I gasped as we came out, and I stared up at the beautiful tree.

"Oh my God, Ethan!!" I gasped as we walked closer to the giant tree. "It's beautiful, just like my girl," Ethan said, grabbing my hand when we were standing right in front of it. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded there. Literally NO one was there. It was just me and him.

"Jodie," Ethan said. He turned around and got down on one knee in front of me. I gasped, and covered my mouth with my hand in surprise. "Oh my gosh," I mutter. This is happening! This is really happening!!!

"I knew I liked you the first moment we met at Coachella. Right when I saw you I knew you were the one. You light up my whole world, Jodie. Without you, I don't know what I would be. I also really appreciate that you ignore the fact that I'm a celebrity and treat me and Grayson like normal people. I love you, Jodie, a lot. Will you marry me?" He pulled out a little box with the most beautiful ring ever inside.

I felt tears of happiness streaming down my face. "Yes!!! Oh absolutely yes I will, Ethan!!!" A huge smile appeared on his face as if he didn't expect me to say yes. He stood up and hugged me and kissed me deeply on the lips. Suddenly, we heard loud cheering coming from around us.

Everyone came back over to the tree who was already there and screamed and cheered for us. I laughed with tears still in my eyes as he let go of the kiss, and kissed him again. I have the best boyfriend—husband ever!
