Jodie's POV:
I woke up and realized that it was only 7:00 am on a Saturday; what am I doing right now?I heard a faint noise in the distance and got up slowly, not wanting to wake up Ethan. His arm was wrapped around me and I slowly moved off the bed so he wouldn't wake up. But then again, what do I have to worry about? Ethan can sleep through anything.
I smiled at him before I left the room. Ethan is always so adorable when he is sleeping. I groggily walked to the living room to see my son, Peter very interested in the show he was watching.
"Morning, Pete," I say tiredly, walking to the kitchen to get myself a cup of coffee. "Mommy!" He yelled, rubbing over to hug me tightly. "How was your sleep?" I asked him, hugging him back. "Good!" Was all he answered, then ran right back for his show.
He was watching old reruns of episodes on Nickelodeon, like Drake and Josh and iCarly. Listening to those episodes gave me nostalgia. I heard my 7 year old daughter awake in her room, also watching something.
She was watching a holographic old video of Ethan and Grayson's, laughing hysterically at it. I smiled as I came into her room and sat down next to her, watching it with her. "Daddy and Uncle Grayson were so funny! How come they don't do any exciting stuff like that anymore?" She asks, smiling at the video.
I frowned. "Because now they have other things to focus on. Like daddy has to focus more on you and Peter, and taking care of us. But we still do fun things, right?" I said, brushing her hair back. She shook her head. "Yeah, but not like that. Not like sky diving or doing super fun crazy challenges like that, or diving with sharks, or anything." She explained, sighing.
I sighed. "Well we're going to see Uncle Grayson and Aunt Marissa today. So why don't you go wake up daddy because I can't get him to wake up for anything. And if he doesn't wake up soon we're going to be late," I told her, brushing her hair back behind her ear.
"Ok!" She smiled and brought her phone with her. I followed her to our bedroom curious to see if she could wake him up. She turned up the volume on her phone and put it close to his face, then hit play.
It was one of their old intros where they screamed "WHATS UP GUYS?! WE'RE BACK!" At the top of their lungs. Ethan screamed and immediately sat up. "Holy fu—Uhh—frick! Carly, why?" He asked, making her giggle.
I smiled and walked into the room. "Because she can always wake you up better than anyone else can." I said with a smirk. "Well you win, Carly. I'm up." He groaned, getting out of the bed.
"Good. Get dressed, too. We're going to Grayson and Marissa's today, remember?" I reminded him, ruffling his hair playfully. He looked up at me in shock. "Oh crap, I totally forgot!" He admitted, his eyes widening.
He checked his phone then followed me into the kitchen for some coffee.
