Chapter 11↠This is Real

Jovie's POV:
*back in school*
Grayson and Ethan texted Marissa and I that the video would be up at around 4:30, so by the time we get home from school.

My phone buzzed before I went to my first period class.

Eeteeweeteee 💜: good morning sunshine :)

I smiled as I read the text, and began typing back. "Who are you texting?" Someone asks behind me, making me jump. I looked behind and saw it was just one of me and Marissa 's friends, Caroline.

"God, Caroline! You scared me!" I said, laughing. "And he's just a friend." I lied. He was more than just a friend to me. "Oooo it's a He??" She asks, looking over my shoulder just to be nosy.

"Wait...did I read that right? Ethan Dolan??" She asks, snatching my phone. "Hey! Caroline!" I whine. "You're texting THE Ethan Dolan???"
She was going to find out soon, anyways. I might as well just tell her now and get the embarrassment over with.

I felt my face turning red. "Yeah. Ok, fine. We're...kind of dating." I explained, rubbing my arm. "And you didn't tell me this?!" She asks, her eyes widening. "I'm sorry!!! I was just so excited to finally be getting the attention from a cute boy for once! I also didn't want to embarrass myself or him." I said, rubbing my arm sheepishly.

She frowned. "Oh. I'm so happy for you," she said. Something in her tone didn't sound very happy, though. And I couldn't tell, but I wasn't sure if she looked pissed off for a second or not, or if it was just me being paranoid.

Marissa's POV:

The video would be up today. Today Jodie and I would have a different life.  Today could go two ways good or bad. I was nervous for both actually.
*Buzz*

Lil Gray💕: Hey Risa! Good Morning! Just so you know the video should be up around 4 - 4:30ish. Btw can you come over today? I really need to talk to you about some important things. Thanks! BB!💜

Reading that text made me smile I must have looked like a fool smiling at my phone. I feel a little more confident! I see Jodie and i run over to her!!

Jodie look!! I pretty much smash the phone in her face!
She reads it and giggles. " oooh gurlll look what Ethan texted me!!! " she says in between giggles.
"Yassssss omg adorableee!!!!" I whisper scream at her!!

"You ready for today? We can do this together Jodie! Together forever! No matter what!" We both smile and head to class with our head held high!

Jodie's POV:
It was after school, and I waited impatiently until 4:00.

I grabbed my phone to text Ethan.

me:
Ethhh where's my video?! I wanna see it!!

Ethan ❤️:
ITS COMING IN 15 MINUTES!!!

Ethan ❤️:
Oh sorry meant to tweet that. I wasn't yelling at you 😂💗 but yeah it's coming in 15 minutes case you didn't tell

me:
Well make 15 minutes go by faster!! I wanna know what happens 😉

Ethan ❤️:
You'll just have to wait and find out 😆

me:
Nooo why do you do this to me!!! 😭😭😭😂

Ethan ❤️:
I gotta go babe, Gray and I are just finishing publishing it. 5 more minutes!!! 💗

me:
Ughhh okayyy. Bye babe!

Marissa's Pov:

Ok so all that small amount of confidence ive had has now left me for the trash. I'm so nervous ahh!!!
"Calm down Marissa! Calm down! Calm! Calm! Calm! Ahhhhh! I cant do this I cant! ." I say pacing around my room. A tweet from the twins say the video would be up in like 15 mins and im scared ok! I am not ready!

Lil Gray: Hey! So I know your probaly freaking out right now... dont worry about it just relax! Your fine! And you still havent said if you could come over today! Ill cook your favorite!

Me: my favorite?🤔

Lil Gray: yes! Be hear at 7:30 tonight ok?

Me: uhh ok fine!! See ya later Gray.🙋

Now i'm even more great! He probaly wants to talk about me and my issues. I will not let the conversation come to that nope! Nope! I refuse!
