Chapter 13↠Bringing up the Past

Jodie's POV:
I was out to lunch with Ethan today. It was such a nice way to spend my Saturday. Hanging out with Ethan, going to lunch, and then taking a nice walk in the park afterwards.

Until my phone buzzed when I was just about to take my next bite of salad. "What's wrong?" Ethan asks, looking worried. I didn't respond and started to read my text message.

Unknown number: hey bestie! Remember me? It's Alyssa! Your old, first best friend from 3rd grade. Omg, it's been so long! I just saw you on the new DT video, it was awesome!!! I'm actually coming into LA soon, so maybe we can hang! Xoxo,

Uh oh, why is she texting me all of a sudden to come back into my life? So she can sabotage it? She and I drifted apart in 6th grade because she would rather hangout with the "popular" girls, and she hasn't talked to me since.

So why now? Just because I'm hanging out with the Dolan Twins? "Jodie?" Ethan said, snapping me out of my trans. "You okay?"

"Huh? O-oh. Sorry. It was just...nothing. Don't worry about it."

"Alright." He shrugged, taking another bite of his meal.

"This park is just beautiful, Eth. It's so romantic." I said, holding his hand. He smiled. "I knew you would like it, because I like it." Suddenly, one of our phones began to ring. Ugh, what is it now? We both picked up our phones at the exact same time, and Ethan said "Ugh, it's Grayson," With an eyeroll and answered it. "What, Grayson? What could be so important that you had to call me in the middle of my date with Jodie?" He asked. His eyes widened in shock after a little while of Grayson talking. "Wait, what?! Someone hacked into our channel?! But how?!!"

"Grayson, Grayson. Are you SURE Someone hacked our channel?"

I gasped, covering my mouth. "Oh, crap! Should we go back to your house and finish this date another time?"

Ethan sighed. "I mean, I really wanted to spend some time with you, Jodie. But I guess we'll have to continue this another time. I'm really sorry." He apologizes. "Don't be. It wasn't your fault. Let's go, we need to find out who this hacker is and take them down!"

Marissa's pov

~~A few hours earlier~~

I arrive at Grayson's house it just me and him. Jodie and Ethan are out on another date.
I dont know why but i'm really nervous we still havent talked about everything yet because you know well ive been make it hard to talk about it.

I arrive at his house and knock on the door. Three times. I wait for about 3mins or so and turn to leave. But then I decide to go around back and try knocking there. I go around back and see Grayson setting up a little picnic like thing by the pool and I just watch him. He is so adorable and sweet.

I walk over quietly so that maybe I can scare him because why not.
I tip toe over and jump on him making him freeze then fall over. We land in a well awkward position. He is on top of me and my legs are wide open and my hands are on his a$$ cheeks. I mentally kick myself and remove my hands. But on a side note! Dayummmm boii you thicccc!!!!!!

I let go and try to get up but he doesnt move he just lays there looking deep into my soul. I dont know why or what was I was thinking but I lean up and kiss him on the mouth. It was a quick little kiss, but it sent a shock though my whole body and it for sure brought Grayson back to reality.
 
We head inside and sit on the couch. "Lets watch youtube together. " Grayson says. I just nod because that kiss messed me up in a good way.
I get a notification on my phone, and I stare at it confused.a

When gray come back in the room with his computer I ask him if Ethan was going to post a new video, because the Dolan Twins.

Before he could answer though Ethan and Jodie rush in.
