Chapter Six: The End of Her Happiness

*Seer's POV*

After our little pizza party was over, the six of us went our separate ways. Amy and Rory went to their room in the Doctor's TARDIS, and Theta, of course, followed, going into his own room. The Master and I were left alone, and I showed him my room. Where the nameplate on the outside had previously just read 'The Seer', it now read, 'The Seer and the Master.'

We changed into pajamas and climbed into the spectacularly comfortable bed. And, even though it sounds cheesy, we cuddled. For the first time since that horrible night when I had to leave him, Koschei and I cuddled together. I'd forgotten how much I'd missed him. I slept better than I had in years.

The next morning, I was momentarily shocked to find a man in my bed. Then my memories came streaming back, and I smiled. Koschei noticed me moving, and sleepily drew his arm protectively over my chest. After kissing him softly on the forehead, I untangled myself from him and climbed out of bed.

It was so odd, having a good night's sleep with someone I love. Samuel was the last person I'd loved like this. The guilt of loving another person besides my husband flooded me again. I winced and shoved the thoughts away. It wasn't worth the hassle of grappling with my guilt. I'd tell him some other time.

After reaching the kitchen, I pulled open the refrigerator... and gagged at the stench of rotted fruits, vegetables, and leftovers gone bad. I slammed it closed again, and stared at the closed metal door. "Well, my time-travelling friend, could you possibly get rid of that nastiness? If I try and do it, I'll probably die." I muttered to the TARDIS.

There was a gentle hum, and then a quiet 'ding.' I opened the door, and found that it was now spotless and stench-free. "Thanks, darling." I said, then ran into the console room to fly the ship to some place where I could buy food. I decided to go to San Francisco and go to the local bagel bakery. After putting on a coat to disguise my pajamas, I ran out the door. I grabbed my favorite (The cinnamon roll flavored one) and grabbed a blueberry one for Koschei.

The cashier lady smiled at me, recognizing my face. "Hello, Trellya! How are you doing today?"

I considered how to answer this question. If I were to tell her the truth, she would think me insane and take me to the insane asylum. So I smiled a little and simply said, "Oh, usual. Nothing interesting for me."

"Oh, I'm sure that something will happen to you someday, dear." The lady grinned fondly. Well, I thought dryly. She was right...

I smiled falsely, payed for the bagels, and ran back into my TARDIS. Koschei was up now, blinking sleepily at me. "Hello, honey." I greeted cheerfully, setting the bagels on the kitchen table. He scowled and grabbed the food I shoved at him. I had almost forgotten that he was not a morning person. Of course I wasn't really one either, but at least I talked in the mornings.

After we ate, Koschei decided it was late enough that he would get dressed. I went with him and grabbed a green v-neck t-shirt, grey skinny jeans, purple Converse (I'd always had a weakness for them), and a purple scarf. I winked at my husband before walking out of our bedroom and heading to the silver door between the two time machines. I twisted the knob, and grinned widely as it opened, revealing the console room of my brother's TARDIS. The lights were dimmed slightly so the time traveling trio could get a good night's sleep. I walked over to where my brother's room was, and smirked to hear the soft sounds of snoring through the wooden door. Then I whispered quietly to the TARDIS, hoping she would help.
