Sanwan's POV
I was very impressed by Can's singing voice. I was pleasantly surprised that he knew almost all the songs I played in my car. I glanced briefly at him as he was singing along to a particular song that was one of my favorites in my playlist. I liked how he was singing it with such emotion. I could tell that he was a very passionate person and would make a very passionate lover. Oooppsss...where were my thoughts leading me..... I made a big effort to keep my attention back .on the road.
Finally we reached my university. I tapped my university ID at the entrance to the university parking lot. I could already hear the music blaring and announcements being made on the university intercom. The parking lot seemed to be fully occupied. I prayed that I could find an available parking spot.
I found one at the very end of the parking lot.
"I hope you don't mind that we have to walk far to get to the entrance of the fair," I said, turning to Can after I parked my car.
He was struggling with the seat belt again. I felt so embarrassed that my car was giving him problems.
I quickly leaned over to help him with it. At that exact moment, the seat belt clip unlocked and he straightened back up.
To my utter mortification, our lips met before I could draw away.
"P'Wan! I'm sorry! I'm so very sorry!" cried Can, "I knew you were leaning close but I did not expect the seat belt clip to unlock that fast."
"No, no, no, no," I cried back, "I should be the one to apologize. I promise you, the next time you ride in my car, that seat belt will be working properly."
"Don't think too much about it," Can said brightly, "let's hurry and try out the food booths first. I'm excited to eat the different dishes being showcased from the different countries."
"Me, too," I said, "I'm actually hungry already. I haven't had breakfast yet."
"Would you believe, me too!" Can exclaimed.
"Me, too," said Good.
Again, Can and I looked guiltily at each other. We kept forgetting that Good was also in our company. Forgive me, my brother, I said silently to myself.
Can positioned himself between Good and me and took our hands.
"Let's go!" he said, running fast, making me and Good sprint alongside him.
I felt my heart beat fast with happy anticipation. I vowed to make this fair a happy and unforgettable experience for Can. And my brother, of course.
I presented our tickets at the entrance to the fair. The student in charge of the entrance took our tickets and stamped the back of our hands with a rubber stamp. That was for if we needed to leave the fair grounds and wanted to come back, we just had to show the stamp on the back of our hands without having to give another ticket.
"Which booth do you want to try out first?" I asked, turning to Can, and belatedly turning to my brother.
"I want to drink something warm first, like tea or soup," said Good.
"That's a good idea," said Can, "let's go drink some tea first. Do you like drinking tea, P'Wan?"
"She doesn't," Good answered before I could, "she's a coffee drinker."
"Oh," was all Can said. Did I detect a disappointment in his voice?
I wanted to smack my brother. I could have pretended to like tea and just drink it just for today. Who knows, I might eventually like the taste of tea.
I made note not to take my brother along, next time that Can and I went some place to spend time together.
We proceeded to a booth that offered different kinds of hot drinks.
Good ordered a cup of black tea while Can ordered a cup of green tea. I decided to order a cup of green tea as well.
Can and Good both looked at me in surprise.
"I thought you were going to order a cup of coffee," said Can.
"I would like to try and see how green tea tastes," I said, "I could always order a cup of coffee later if I could not stand the taste," I added.
Can paid for the hot drinks before I could stop him.
"This whole day is supposed to be my treat," I protested.
He waved my protests away.
I took one sip of the green tea. I had to admit the taste wasn't to my liking, but I bravely took another sip.
Before I could stop him, Can had stood up and ordered a cup of coffee for me and came back with it.
"Your face is so transparent," he said smiling and handing me the cup of coffee and taking away the cup of green tea from me.
He took a sip from the cup of green tea that I had been drinking from. He was sipping from the exact same spot where my lips had touched it.
