I FINALLY hit one thousand words on the first chapter of my book. So far the working title is The Nightmare House, but time will tell if that's what I end up using.
Yes, one thousand words is not a lot. I know.
I'd been having major issues trying to write anything at all. Writing one paragraph was like pulling teeth. Not fun. But now I feel like I've finally gotten into the flow of things.
I feel like - actually, scratch that - I KNOW I put way too much pressure on myself to get things right the first time. However life does not work like that. Especially book writing. Even when the book has been revised and everything, I'm still probably going to find something wrong with it. But I can't let that keep me from writing in general. The most important thing right now is to just get something down. Even if it is word vomit.
That is what editing is for.
Also, hi Cola if you read this.
I have three followers no one is going to read this probably sdjsjdkfhkjdsh
Anyway, so I'm working on the tragic event that happens to my main character. I already kind of have a partial tragic event, but it's not really the type of thing that could potentially prevent her from reaching her goal of in the story. I was thinking of maybe having her end up in the hospital or something. Due to story related things, of course.
My older characters are like my children and BOI. It would make me so sad to hurt and/or kill them. I should probably feel the same way about this character, considering she's based on me,,,,
Ope.
So yeah! That's where I'm at right now. Sometimes writing makes me wanna smash my face into a brick wall, but other times it's really great!!!!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!! :D
(I'm not supposed to fall asleep yet but I'm suddenly really sleepy . oh no . )
