Lucifer looked at it, as it squealed and ran side to side in utter confusion and fear.

'It's all right.' Lucifer told his creation, but the little thing continued its squeal.

'Be quite now,' Lucifer whispered. He suddenly felt panicked. 

What had he done? God gave him this knowledge not to use it, but to preserve it, harness it, protect it.

Lucifer had turned pale white. He feared God's fearsome outburst in the court yesterday, and dreaded to think what he would do if he found Lucifer had betrayed him to his promise.

'Shut up!' Lucifer picked the thing up.

The small clay creation bobbed its head, and thrashed in his hands, before Lucifer ripped the thing in half and stopped.

Though Lucifer was covered in something red that spilled out of his creation like that well had spilled water.
