'Come here my boy.' said God softly to Lucifer.

Lucifer was quite far away, but the voice of the lord filled the sky.

He walked into God's studio, and went to stand by him.

'This is my new creation,' he marvelled. 'the best one yet.'

Lucifer looked damned. 'It,- it' he stammered.'It looks just like me!'

God ruffled lucifer's hair. 'Yes, only you have hair woven from beaten gold, and 'Adam' has hair from soil.'

It was quite a sight. It made Lucifer feel this strange tingling feeling inside. He was pleased. Maybe he could be friend with him, if God allowed it.

'However, Lucifer,' God turned a wise eye on the boy. 'The earth is too hostile for it to live there.'

The tingling feeling ceased.

'I need to destroy it, and rebuild it once more. annihilated the bigger creatures in order for 'Adam' to live.'

'YOU CAN'T DO THAT?' Lucifer found that he raised his voice to God. 'THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG! PLEASE,'

God smiled, a terrible sullen smile. 'I'm sorry my boy, but this has to happen.'

'He can stay here.' Lucifer put in. 'with us, and I'll keep him company.'

God laughed aloud. 'Adam will get his own paradise. But not here,'

'What is that?' Lucifer pointed across the room. A white veil covered another creation.

God walked to it, and smouldered his hands.

'This is Lilith,' he took off the veil, and a similar thing, just like that Adam stood their, lifeless and soulless. With long black hair, and modest breasts, her skin white as those summer clouds.

She was beautiful.

'She'll be his wife.'
