The Winter We Thought We Lost Love

Chapter Eight

The moment Ming left the house and headed to the airport his aunt called Pha to let him know that Ming was on his way. Both Pha and Yo were sitting outside Kit's hospital room. Forth and Beam came out and sat with them.

''How's Kit'' Pha asked.

''Alive'' Beam said rubbed the back of his head. ''What about Ming's aunt? Did you get a hold of her?''

''Yeah, Ming is on his way now he will be here in a few hours.'' Yo leans against Pha and lets a soft sigh out. ''I'm sure he will call you or Forth when he lands so be ready for that.''

Forth nodded and hugged Beam close ''This is all to crazy. What was he thinking getting that drunk?''

''What is he doing right now?'' Pha said standing looking into the room.

''Last I knew, he was watching the snow fall out the window.'' Beam walked over and looked in as well. ''His mind is on Ming right now. The first thing he said when he woke up was he wanted his ring and the ring on the necklace.''

''It's been a year. How do we even know Ming still cares for him and isn't coming here for just you and Yo?'' Forth said standing. ''I mean hell he has been hanging out with this Bo guy since he got there.''

Yo sighed and hung his head ''Ming swears there is nothing between them at all, that they are just friends that's it.'' He said softly.

''Just friends?'' Forth said pulling his phone out bringing up a photo ''Look at this. He is looking at Ming in more then just a friends way.''

Yo and Forth started to argued. Pha shook his head and went inside the room. Kit was sitting there looking out the window as he spun the ring around on his finger. Pha stood there watching him for a moment then walked over to him.

''Hey, how are you feeling?'' He said sitting in the chair next to the bed.

Kit turned and looked at him with a small smile ''My head hurts, but other then that I'm fine'' he said.

''That's good to hear.'' Pha smiled back.

Kit looked at him and could tell he was hiding something ''What's going on?'' He asked.

''Nothing, well Yo and Forth are fighting about something stupid, but other then that it's nothing'' He gave a small laugh.

Beam opened the door and poked his head in ''Pha, can you come help please.''

''Let me go help Beam break them up.'' He got up and headed out.

When Pha stepped out and closed the door he noticed both the fighting stopped and Forth was on the phone ''What's going on?''

''Forth is on the phone with Ming right now'' Yo said in a whisper. ''Seems he just landed and is wanting to know where we are.''

Pha turned and looked back into the room only to see Kit looking back out the window. He placed a hand on Yo's back ''I'll be right back'' He headed back inside.

''Kit'' He said softly.

''Sup, did they stop fighting?'' Kit laughed a bit

''Yeah, but look you should let me hold on to the ring and necklace for a bit.'' He said sitting down again.

''Why?'' Kit looked at him confused.

''Well'' His mind went blank for a moment. Luckily the nurse came in.

''We need to take a scan of your head to make sure there isn't any bleeding.'' The nurse notice he was wearing the ring and necklace. ''You will need to take that stuff off before going in. I'm sure your friend here will watch it for you.''
