Reincarnated as a Worm?

Chapter 1- Thus I am A Worm

Author Note - So now starts this series and the beginning of this story
So I bet your wondering why I even call this a note, I don't know just wanted to help my self out a bit by talking to myself.

So I woke up inside of a new world as a worm, so far noting seems out of the ordinary except I have teeth, anyway i'm here with some other baby worms just chilling.

I have to say i'm pretty lucky that my life hasn't started of crazy, so I can process and analyze my situation.
'Hmm I wonder if I say Stats-' My thoughts were cut off and my stats appeared

"wow" My stats are actual garbage, I feel like if I even got tapped once I would die, there is no way I would be able to fight like this, in fact how the hell do these worms even survive. However I was curious about what my special skill is since it sounds cool 'I wonder if i think about the [Death Devourer]-' I was cut off again and it displayed the information in my head

[Death Devourer Lvl 1]- A Special skill that allows you to take skills or stats after eating whatever you kill, higher level means a higher chance to gain more stats and skills.
Number of stats that can be gained at level 1 are 1-10.
Chance to get a skill and stat(s) is 15%

"Hmmm....." Although the skill is really good, that chance along with the fact that I have to kill something with this weak body is probably not even possible, but I'll find out something. Anyway as far as my other skills go I think they are pretty self explanatory, but I do wonder about '[Regen]' and so I was told

"Makes sense" I said to myself, however although I've been talking it sounds like "blop", which at first I didn't even realize because I didn't think worms made sounds, but then I thought about and realized how weird it would be if I was a talking worm, so yeah it makes sense. However one thing has been bothering me, which is my appearance and after looking at my siblings I think its safe to assume that I am a pure white worm with black rings at each section of my body, but we are also small from what I can tell.

(Author's Note - For those who have no clue what I mean there is basically a black ring around each segment of the worm) I think its safe to assume that I am in a different world with the concept of stats and monsters, so most likely a sword and magic world, which is pretty cool, but i'm a worm..............
*CRASH*(SFX for crash?????)

'Hmm, what the hell was that?' I really wish my question wouldn't be answered, but sadly it was and what came through the ground ate our mother, which was sad, but since I was Human I could care less about a worm.
After our mother was eaten it came back and began to eat some of us and by the way about what is attacking us right now..... well its a bird, I think 'I wonder if I can see it's stats-' yet again it happens.

So this Blood Robin is an all black bird with red eyes that one would see in nightmares, at least that's how it look to me most likely because my life was at risk so I immediately knew I had to run because there is no way I was going to be able to fight this thing, but what I did notice from looking at the stats is that maybe certain monsters can have titles and maybe some don't,

However none of that information is important if I don't live, thus I began to wiggle my way through the dirt as fast as I could,  but because I was calmly analyzing the situation I didn't practice moving and thus couldn't wiggle my way through the earth.

"Shit, if I don't get outta here fast I will die!" I said this in panic, although what it really sounded like was "Blop, Blop Blop!" and right when I said this almost as if a miracle occurred, which did happen because the bird was too busy with us  and had its head in the ground it got stepped on by a passing traveler on a horse that was running.

And now the Blood Robin was in our home and at first I though it was dead, because getting stepped on by a horse as a bird and surviving is no easy accomplishment, but because it was damaged so much I had an idea 'Show me the stats of the Blood Robin-'

"HELL YEAH!"("BLOP!"), even though my strength was only 2, with five hits I would be able to kill this bird, so I wiggled my way to its body and used my skill [Bite] 5 times to end up killing the Blood Robin

Author's Note - Wow I made it past 1000 words with this first chapter, and to think people go to 2000, which is crazy, but who knows. If people actually enjoy this story then maybe it could go there.

Also I would like to mention that I realize the chapter is not really action based and basically just gives the reader a little way to imagine the protag and introduces his Special ability and it's concept and how it functions, so with that
