I don't... need her.

Iris turns to Eden, "I've been meaning to ask, Eddie mentioned his mom wasn't doing too well. Have you heard anything about how she's doing? Maybe from your parents? Not really sure how he would react to me calling him about his family right now. Seeing as I'm probably the last person he would wanna talk to."

Eden tries her best to remain nonchalant, "No, I haven't. Sorry. We're not that close... Our families, I mean."

"I just haven't been able to stop thinking about how he's doing. It's not like he has any close friends he can talk to about these things. I know you two knew each other back in the day so, if you hear anything, please let me know?" Iris asks.

Eden nods, "Of course."

Caitlin had been right about Barry being mentally unstable. It became evident that life without Iris had pushed him over the edge.

Joe had tried getting them in the same room to talk. But every time he told Iris that Barry was coming over, Iris would say she had a late shift at work and could not make it. Joe always knew better than to push her.

The last time Barry and Iris had gone this long without talking to each other was well, never. Of course they've had fights in the past. But this time was different. And Barry knew it.

Caitlin was convinced Barry had straight up lost his mind when she saw a 911 text from him, asking her and Cisco to meet him at Star Labs at 7am on a Sunday morning.

Barry was sitting in the middle of the Cortex and staring intensely at the computer screen when Cisco entered the lab groggily while yawning into his hand.

"There better be a new born baby hanging from a side of a fucking airplane. Otherwise, I'm going back to bed." Cisco says.

Barry looks up to smile creepily at Cisco, "Grab a coffee, I'll explain when Caitlin gets here."

Barry assures Cisco as he speedily types away at his keyboard, his hands moving at the speed of light.

Barry stops for a second to wipe away the tiredness from his weary eyes. His hair is a ruffled mess. Cisco notices.

"Is that the same shirt you spilled Siracha on three days ago?" Cisco asks as he sips on his freshly brewed coffee. Barry looks down at his blue shirt. It has a very visible light red stain. He goes back to typing, ignoring Cisco's comment.

Caitlin enters, "Barry, tell me again. Why are we here on our day off? Did Wells send out a memo I didn't get?"

Barry jumps up and points to the map projected on the big monitor. He starts speaking ridiculously fast.

"That's the meta who broke into the museum on 14th Acre street. I ran a few... thousand faces which matched the eyewitness reports Joe sent in. I finally got a hit 30 minutes ago. I need you guys to be my eyes when I -"

"Wait, does Harry know about this?" Cisco interrupts.

"Why would we need Wells? There's a lethal meta out there who needs to be caught. We're the people who catch bad meta's. It's our job. Wells wants us to do our job, doesn't he?" Barry rubs his arm as he talks, like a junkie who is desperate for his next fix.

Caitlin approaches Barry with caution. "Look, I think what Cisco means is, we don't know how dangerous this meta really is...". Caitlin gives him a once over look, noticing the dark circles under his eyes.

"When was the last time you got a proper eight hour nights sleep, Barry? You could get hurt out there-"

"Stop. What are you doing?" Barry backs away from her.
