Shiro's POV

I held my hands over my ears, trying to get the high-pitched ringing out of my head. Shaking, my eyes wandered around the room, just wanting for this to end. I hated panic attacks. They always came when I least expect. Tears started to roll down my face. I closed my eyes. Suddenly, everything warped, and I was lost my vision. I felt agonizing pain in my chest. I started panicking more, because I could barely breath.

Then, everything went back to normal. I didn't understand it. For the next few minutes, I was caught in a cycle of panic, cry, vision. By the end of the third vision, I was exhausted. Laying on the floor, I tried to take steady breathes, but I couldn't. I felt my chest tighten up, making it nearly impossible to even breathe at all. Everything began spinning.

Footsteps rung out, somewhere. My vision slid as someone kneeled down by my side. I heard something that vaguely sounded like my name. I tried to sit up, but my body just twitched. I started panicking again, as breathing became even more difficult. I could barely move. I felt someone gently press two fingers right underneath my jaw.

"Takashi!"

Everything was fading. I coughed weakly, before going limp on the floor. 'Please... anyone help... someone help me...' My eyes started to close. My lungs burned, but I couldn't breathe. 'Need to get out of here.' I thought. I realized who was beside me. 'Adam, help me!" I screamed inside my mind. Adam shifted me into a position where my head was resting against his shoulder.

"Takashi, please stay awake. The paramedics are on their way, just stay with me." I heard him. Adam's voice was a little panicky and definitely worried. 'Please... just make it end! It hurts!' I screamed in my mind. I twitched again, nearly falling over at the simple action. Adam caught me before I hit the ground, guiding my forehead back against his shoulder. I tried to relax. Suddenly, I spazzed. I fell, hitting my head hard on the ground. I hissed slightly when I felt a sharp pain. I heard Adam yelling for someone to help. Everything was a blur. I lost all feeling in my body, my throat closing, and my chest locking up. 'This is it.' I tried to gasp out Adam's name, but I couldn't. I felt my head loll to the side as I was lifted on to a stretcher. I closed my eyes, just wanting this all to end.

'Help me...' Then everything went black.

Words: 418 (yeah it was a shorter chapter, but that's okay.) Ugh, I gotta go back to school tomorrow, and I don't want to! To explain things in this chapter a little more, Shiro has asthma; sometimes it can get to a point where he has to be hospitalized, and his panic attacks make it worse. (I didn't use that semicolon correctly! But idc) I, the author, also have asthma! It sucks, but I've actually have never had to be hospitalized for it. Asthma attacks can happen at anytime. You're throat flares up, making it hard to get oxygen into your lungs, therefore making hard for you to breathe! Sometimes, someone's asthma is so bad, that when they have asthma attacks, they can't get any air into their lungs, therefore they need to be hospitalized. It's really scary to have an asthma attack, believe me I know, and it hurts like hell.
