Heillo! I promised that there would be Klance, so here you go!

(This chapter has a slight mention of blood and language, so be warned!)

Keith's POV

I walked down the hallway of the cadet dorm building with a blanket wrapped around my skinny frame. It'd been 3 months since the Galra invaded Earth. Tomorrow was supposed to be the final battle. We would be spending time in Krolia's dorm later, it's just the others weren't back from their training session. I found myself standing in front of my boyfriend's door. I knew that Lance was probably reading or doing something else, but I felt lonely. Plus, I needed comfort. I raised my hand to the bandages over my left eye, wincing at the slightest bit of pressure I put on the wound. 'Great idea, Iverson! Just send cadets out onto the battlefield completely unprepared! AND LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!' I sighed angrily and knocked on Lance's door.

I heard footsteps running to get the door. Lance, my bisexual disaster that I love, opened the door, and when he saw me standing there, he pulled me into a big hug. He then led me inside and closed the door. "Hey, hey it's okay! It's okay." Lance pulled me into another hug. I was shaking. I felt weak for crying, but I let the tears come. They came spilling out, soaking the front of Lance's shirt and the bandages over my eye. He just kept rubbing my back and running his fingers through my hair as I cried my eyes out.

After a few more minutes of crying, I finally was able to calm down. Lance sat with me on the floor, eyes searching my face. They finally rested on the soaked bandages wrapped around my eye. He gently placed his hand on the injury, pressing down lightly. "How's your eye doing, sweetie?" I responded with a small hiss of pain. He seemed to get the message and took his hand away. The cut was deep. "The doctors said that the sword cut through my lens, although they said it might have gone as deep as to through my optic nerve." Lance let out a small gasp. He knew that I would probably never be able to see out of that eye again. I stood up. "I need to get something from my dorm. I'll be right back." I began to walk over to the door when I tripped and fell on my face. "Fuck!" I rolled onto my side, holding my face with both hands. I started swearing in galren, the pain in my eye refusing to go away.

Lance ran over and dropped to his knees beside me. "Keith! Are you okay?!" He half yelled. He sounded worried. "Does it look like I'm okay?!" I hissed. I knew that I would be turning into my full Galra form, but I didn't care. I sat up, both hands still clutching the left side of my face. Lance gently tried to pull my hands away from my eye. I hissed again. "Hey, please let me see your eye, baby." He got a firmer grip on my wrists and pulled them away from my face. I gaped in horror when I saw that my hands were covered in blood. Lance gasped and nearly vomited. He didn't have an iron stomach, which meant I must be bleeding badly. "Shit, Keith!" He got up and quickly got a rag, pressing it against the bloody bandages. I was beginning to feel lightheaded from all the blood I was losing. I collapsed against Lance, my head hitting his chest. I felt his heartbeat, strong and powerful. I placed a hand back over my eye as Lance gently picked me up and rested me on the bed. I just wanted my eye to be better!

Lance's POV

I looked at the boy resting on my bed, hand over his left eye, which was bleeding badly. I quickly searched for my first aid kit, glancing back at my boyfriend every once in a while. I finally found it and made my way back over to Keith. I got a firm grip on his wrist, pulling it away from the already bloody bandages. "Okay, I'm going to need you to lie still." Keith just gave a thumbs up. I unwrapped the bandage, gagging when I saw the injury. "How bad is it?" I heard Keith mumble. "You don't need to know sweetie." I took a quick look at the gash before deciding what I needed to do. "This is going to hurt, but I need you to stay as still as possible, okay?" Keith just winced in response. 'Time to get this over with.'

A few minutes later, Keith was resting in my arms, eye no longer bleeding. I will never forget the look of the gash running across his eye. I shuddered. Keith stirred in my arms, but fell still again when I started whispering soothing words to him. Krolia and the others would be done soon, but for right now, I just let my boyfriend sleep in my arms.
