Chapter 5
Tea parties

"I hope that this dream breaks, I hope you'll wake up with me in the morning."

"You should have never followed Alice."

What?

Was that some type of warning? A caution?

Kinda late for that, though, you thought with a frown. Before you could ask what he meant, you were bombarded with a hundred questions yourself by the other men around you.

"Did you really fall down the rabbit hole?"

"Two lumps of sugar?"

"How about a nice cup of tea?"

"I do believe in your world there is something called green tea, who would want green tea?!"

"What's your name, dearie?"

You took a step back, frazzled. "Um..." you started out hesitantly. Suddenly, a warm hand touched your shoulder and drew you closer.

"Her name is Y/N, and yes she did fall down the rabbit hole," the voice paused, "and no you can't keep her, Namjoon."

Namjoon, who you recalled was the Madder Hatter, deflated. "But—"

"No." The voice was stern.

Finally, you glanced back to come face to face with a hard chest. "Wha—umphh," you started to say but got muffled from the figure pulling you closer. The man's hands were gloved, holding your lower arm. He was familiar.

Planting your hands on the man's chest, you moved away just enough to see your holder's face.

"J-Jungkook?" you blurted out.

How could he switch personalities again, and so quickly? Just a minute ago he looked like he couldn't care what happened to you and now it was like he was protecting you?

Odd.

Jungkook looked down at you, dark brown eyes so deep it felt like you could drown in them. "Quiet," he mumbled harshly. His eyes danced back up. "You get Y/N a spot ready at the table. Can't have our tea party guest sitting on the floor, right?" The men all scrambled away at his words while Jungkook led you secretly away into the near by purple trees, hidden from the view of others.

Once he was satisfied that he and you were alone, he turned toward you, ears flopping at the motion. "Y/N."

"Y-Yes?" You cursed at how your voice wavered at his cold stare.

"I'm only doing this since its sort of my fault that you're here but, you have to know something." The black haired boy positioned himself against a tree and his fringe fell into his eyes. He looked...almost sinful. Perfect body and topped with adorable black rabbit ears. It was deceiving, to say the least. "Don't listen to most of what Namjoon and the others have to say, and especially don't let them convince you to stay here. You cannot stay, okay?"

"I d-don't want to—"

"You'd be surprised at how easily they could persuade you. Just remember that you can't stay here."

Confused and curious, you asked, "...Why can't I?"

Jungkook sighed exasperatedly as if he were trying to explain something to an ignorant five-year old. "The Queen of Hearts. She'll go looking for you just like the last girl that stumbled into Wonderland."
