Chapter 14: Missing (Venom)

Where the hell is she? It's been five days since we last saw Naomi and she's nowhere to be seen. Why the hell didn't Eddie get her phone number? Then again the only times we were around each other was when I was out so that option was basically impossible. We both decided that we should stop checking at night and start checking during the day. The first place we thought of that she visits a lot would be Ms.Chen's store. We walked in and she looked over at us.

"Hey Ms.Chen," Eddie said.

"Hi Eddie," she greeted.

"Has Naomi come to your store lately?" he asked.

"No, why?" she said, looking slightly confused.

"We haven't seen her in five days so we thought maybe you've seen her," he said.

"She's gone missing?" she said, looking surprised.

"I'm afraid so," he sighed.

"Well if you're having trouble I might know someone that could help you," she said.

"Who the hell is she talking about?" I asked.

"Who would that be?" Eddie asked.

"Write your address on this piece of paper and I'll give it to them and tell them to go there," she said as she placed a piece of paper on the counter.

Eddie grabbed a pen then he wrote his address on it. He put the pen down and gives Ms.Chen the paper.

"Thank you Ms.Chen," he said.

She nods then we left the store and made our way back to our apartment.

"This person better help us find Naomi," I growled.

"Just chill," he said. "I'm positive that they'll help us."

"If not I'll bite their heads off," I said.

"Don't," he sighed.

We soon got back to the apartment and started waiting outside. It wasn't until the sun set that we see someone walking towards it. We couldn't really get a good look at them until we got close then we suddenly realized who it was: Xiaohui.

"Hey you're that guy that talks to himself in the convenience store," she said.

"The name is Eddie Brock," he introduced himself. "And I don't talk to myself."

"Whatever you say," she said with a shrug.

He sighs a bit then he straightens himself up.

"So you need help finding someone?" she asked.

"Yes, she's been gone for five days," he said.

"Is this person your girlfriend?" she asked again.

"NO!!" I yelled.

"N-No," he said.

She looked a little suspicious but she shrugged it off.

"Have you checked her apartment for any clues?" she suggested.

"Yes but none of her neighbors knew anything," he said.

"I'm not talking about her neighbors," she said. "I'm talking about checking her room."

"Uhh no," he said.

"Then let's go!" she said eagerly.

We made our way to Naomi's apartment and once we got there we went up to the floor her room was on. Eddie knocked on the door and to our surprise the door creaked open. We quietly walked and we saw that the place looked like a complete mess.

"I'll check the living room while you check her room," Xiaohui said.

When we check her room and we see something under the covers. Eddie walks over and lifts it up to reveal the journal that Naomi stole.

"Read it," I demanded.

"Alright alright," he said.

He opened it up and began ready some of it but we suddenly came across a page that smelled funky. We both started reading it then suddenly Eddie shut it closed and ran out of the room.

"Xiaohui!" he yelled.

"What is it?" she asked as she looked at us.

"You need to read this.." he said.
