Chapter 20: Together Again (Venom)

I suddenly became engulfed in anger and I began punching the glass to try a break it. Dammit! Why won't it break?!

"I-I'm sorry.." Xiaohui said.

I looked at her and glared darkly.

"I ought to bite your head off for this!" I said angrily.

I reached out to grab her but she suddenly ducked and slid under me. I turned around to see her backing up towards the wall. I started stepping closer to her and ignored Eddie telling me to stop and calm down. She looked over in the room then her eyes widen a bit.

"What the hell..?" she mumbled.

"Don't try to distract me," I growled.

"No seriously look!" Eddie said.

I growled again then looked over at the room to see something floating through the fallen wall. Once the thing came through the hole I suddenly noticed who it was: it was Naomi. Xiaohui rushed past me and towards the panel to try and make the door open. Her arm sparked again then the door slide open. I rushed in and grabbed her just in time before she could fall again. I have never felt so relieved before and I held her close.

"Well that's something you don't see everyday," I hear Xiaohui mutter but I ignored her.

I felt her shift a little so I looked down at her to see her eyes slowly. She blinked a few times then she looked up at me.

"Venom.." she breathed out.

"Thank god," I hear Eddie say, sounding relieved. "But how did she get back up?"

I immediately forgot what he said and I kept staring into Naomi's eyes as she did with mine. Suddenly we snapped out of it when Xiaohui knocked on the wall.

"This is sweet and all (and a little weird) but we still have something else to deal with," she said.

"Dr.Perkins," I growled.

"I'll handle him," Naomi said.

We looked at her and Viper took control of her body.

"I'll make sure he's taken care of for good," she said with a grin.

She left the room and jumped down through the hole. We jumped down after her and hid in the shadows. We see her approach Dr.Perkins and he looked at her with a grin.

"Did you take care of them?" he asked.

"Not entirely," she said.

She then grabbed him tightly and his eyes widen.

"W-What are you doing?" he said. "I didn't order you to do anything!"

"I don't take orders from a sh*thead like you," she hissed.

He started trembling as she showed her razor sharp teeth.

"For the past five days I barely got anything to eat so I'm STARVING," she growled. "Because of what you are you won't taste that good but you'll do."

"No..no no no no no no!" Dr.Perkins pleaded.

With one swift move she bit off his head and threw his body down. She growled slightly then she spat out his glasses. I stepped out of the shadows and walked over to her.

"Let's get out of here," I said.

She looks at me and nods then Xiaohui walks out of the shadows.

"While you two leave I'll hack into the security system to gather footage to show the secrets of this place so it can close down," she said.

We nod then I went back inside Eddie and Viper went back inside Naomi. We went to the elevator then we made our way down to the main floor. Once we got to the main floor we left the building and began walking away from it. After walking a couple blocks I could feel a grin appearing on Eddie's face and I knew what it was about.

"I have something to tell you," he said.

"What is it?" she asked as she looked at us.

"Don't you dare tell her!" I yelled.

"We'll need to get to an alleyway first," he said.

"Alright," she said, looking confused.

It took us some time until we finally found an alleyway and walked in. I suddenly came out and took over Eddie's body and Naomi tilts her head to the side a little. Before she could say anything I quickly grabbed her then quickly jumped onto the building and started jumping from building to building. I eventually stopped on a building that was a little taller and I carefully set her down.

"Why'd you bring me up here?" she asked.

"You have been stuck in that room for five days, just thought you could use a change of scenery," I said.

"Oh, well that's nice of you," she said with a smile.

She walked to the edge of the building and looked over at the city.

"Even after all this time it still looks amazing," she said.

"I agree," I said.

Instead of looking at the city I was looking at her. Not only that she looks amazing, she looked beautiful. I walked over and stood beside her then she looked up at me.

"So what's the other reason why you brought me here?" she asked.

"Now's your chance man," I heard Eddie say.

"It's not that easy," I mumbled.

"I can't help you with this one" he said.

I mentally glared at him but then I thought of something. I could do what I made Anne did after we saved Eddie from Carlton's men.

"So are you going to tell me or not?" I hear Naomi say.

I looked over at her to see her looking at me with a confused look. I couldn't help myself, I have to do it. I suddenly grabbed her and before she could say anything I quickly kissed her. Her eyes widen then she almost immediately fell into the kiss.

"Not what I had in mind but ok," I heard Eddie say, slightly disgusted.

After a good couple minutes we pulled away and we stared into each others' white eyes. I didn't let go of her as I stared at her blushing face.

"That was...amazing," she said after she cleared her throat. "But give me a warning next time."

"I second that," I heard Eddie say.

I gave a slight nod then Naomi chuckled a bit.

"Thank you," she said.

"For what?" I asked.

"For making me like I'm not alone anymore," she said with a smile.

"You're welcome," I said.
