DARVEY/ The hidden feelings

Chapter 2. Back to you

Harvey's POV
Everything happens so fast. Donna suddenly came and kissed me then left without any word. I keep standing for a while, my mind is completely blank.
The next day, Donna comes to me and says she wants to explain about what happened the previous day
- I don't  want to hear you explain. You know I'm seeing Paula, and you did that
I shouted angrily
-Harvey, it was just a kiss... You know we had done more than that...
She tried to explain
-So what?! Once in twelve years!
-Not just that. We smile, we drink, we flirt together
Donna said in a low tone
-It doesn't mean I want more!
-For a record, neither do I 
She hasn't lose her temper at all, even when I'm shouting at her like this

I told Paula the truth that Donna kissed me, and we even slept together before once because I want to be honest with her. But it just only makes our relationship even worse.
I'm on good terms with Paula, but I also did have a feeling when Donna kissed me. I actually could push her out immediately when she did that, but I didn't. I enjoy her kiss and I was actually about to kiss her back.
-If you said you have no feeling for Donna, make her leave. She's no longer your secretary, try to offer her a well-paid job in another company. You know that's the only way... I can't be with a man that couldn't control his own feeling!
Paula said when we were having dinner last night. And that took me a night to finally make up my mind. I've made a perfect plan, Stu helps me to give Donna an offer to work at his place. Donna will definetely accept that job and leave me, I don't hurt her either.
I thought everything was alright until Donna rushs into my office, showing her upset face
-Really, you really think that I'm an idiot?
-You know?
I asked her suspiciously
-You cannot even forced me to leave by yourself
She huffed.

( You all must have seen the season 7 so I'll keep this part, I don't really remember all the conservation )

I head to the office but everything there is an already-signed-contract on my table, and a handwriting letter from Donna. She has left the office, and accepted to quit this job. I was the person who offered her a new job, because Paula said so. And I'm not the kind of person who will regret my decision, but this time, I've made one of the most terrible decision in my life that could make me regret the rest  of my life, and lose my most important woman.
I rush outside as fast as I can, look around the building to check whether she has left or not. I cannot find her somehow so I decide to catch a taxi
-Where are you going to, sir?
The taxi driver asked.
-Don't know, can I think for a minute?
I replied, and placed myself on the taxi's seat.
I ended up at Paula's house and also end up my relationship with her. It happened so fast, I told Paula my thoughts that I cannot lose Donna anymore, and we had a goodbye hug.
Now, I'm standing in front of Donna's flat, room 206. After many hesitation, I knock the door. It takes her a while to open the door. She's dressing in uncasual clothes, her hair's messing around and her face has no makeup on it. Even that, it's still really beautiful.

-Thanks god you're here
I sighed, completely exhaused.
-What're you doing here Harvey. I thought there's nothing left-
-Acutually that's why I'm here
I said, and toss the contract has her signature, which I has been holding when head to Donna's place.
-I lose you once, maybe twice, but I'm not gonna let this happen again.
I continued, still breathing hardly after everything.
-What about Paula?
She asked doubtfully.
-I had done with her before came here.
This time, Donna doesn't say anything, her face seems confusing, and then worrying.
-A-Are you ok?
She asked with a halt.
-Will you come back?
-Yes
-Then I'm ok
I smiled sadly and fall to her arms. It was so suddenly that she is surprised at first, but then she embraces me in hers, slowly caress me.

Donna's POV

I'm really worrying for Harvey now. He's always been a steelman, but now, I'm seeing his weak side. The last time I saw this is when Harvey's dad passed away.
-You really ok Harvey?!... I've never seen you like this before

-Not really, I don't know what's on my mind right now, but glad that you're back.

I'm even more worried for Harvey, I embrace him tightly.

-You idiot... I know you do love Paula
He doesn't reply me back, but suddenly crosses his arms around my waist. I blushed. I want Harvey, want to hug him even much tight than this. However, I felt really guilty as I might be the reason why they broke up, Paula is such a kind woman and they love each other. Paula deserves him, how can I be someone to him.

-Harvey, I think we should-

I'm about to leave his arms, but his hands is so tight that I cannot make it.
-Just stay for a bit like this, please. I need your arms.

He expressed in a low tone. We keep standing like this like it last forvever. Tomorrow, I'll go back to the firm as a COO, my most loved job. And I can work with Harvey again, but I know after tonight, something has changed between us.
