It's all start when Mike called and said he will pay a visit to Harvey's flat with Rachel as their child will spend time at the camping site, which gives them some freetime. They arrive at NY in the afternoon and drive to the flat, where Donna and Harvey are both waiting for them.
"Thought you were too busy to even think about us, dude."
Harvey smirked as soon as he saw Mike entered the flat.
"I always have time for an old friend, you know."
Mike replies and hugs Harvey.
"Look at you two, I guess I'll let Mike be with Harvey today. Right Donna?"
Rachel smiles, turns her eyes to the kitchen, where Donna is making some drinks for them.
"Absolutely. Just look at Harvey, how can I stop him from having a day with his tiny little Mikey."
Donna smirks, heads to them with drinks.
"Whisky with water for this couple, and, a handsome coffee for my handsome man."
Donna continues and passes the coffee to Harvey.
"My handsome man? Woosh, it's a little bit mushy now."
Mike said and glanced at Rachel.
"Well, she's mine anyway so I see nothing wrong when Donna called me like that."
Harvey replies, and moves forward to Donna to kisses on her soft lips, right in front of Rachel and Mike.
"Am I the only one who thinks there's problem with Harvey?"
Rachel whispers to Mike
"No you're not. They're really surprised me. I mean, Harvey baddass Specter suddenly becomes mushy like this just because of a woman. Unbelievable!"
Mike answered.
"You know we can here you, don't you?! And for the record, this isn't just a woman, it's Donna, she's totally different from the others."
Harvey murmurs.
"Okay, enough for chatting. I'm gonna take Rachel with me. And the two gentleman, have fun outside. One more thing, Harvey, do not drink too much."
"Got it madam!"
Harvey winked.
Harvey and Mike spend time at a local pub, having drink and chatting about whatever they think of, just like the old days.
"We should have more time like this Mike. It's good to drink with you, it reminds me of the time we uses to work together."
"Me too Harvey. But you know I don't have much chances, having kid just takes away all our time."
Mike smiles sadly.
"Oh yes, I haven't said congrats to you yet. Congratulations on you and Donna's expecting baby, and also the proposal."
Mike continues.
"Thanks Mike. Guess I'll soon be really busy like you after having kid."
"Of course you will. I think you're gonna be a damn well dad so don't worry."
Mike pats on Harvey shoulder.
"I just... Sometimes I afraid that I can't. It all comes so fast, and now I still can't believe that me and Donna are gonna be parents. I'm not so sure if I could be as good as Gordon, as raising my child."
Harvey murmurs, takes a sip of whisky.
"Harvey I-"
"I know Mike, it's hard at first, and I've always been busy with my work at the firm, so does Donna. I don't think I could handle it well."
Harvey sighs, has another sip of drink.
"You love Donna right? And you proposed her didn't you?"
Mike suddenly asked.
"Yah, of course. I have 12 years to prove it, and a proposal is an end to it."
"No, it's a beginning of your new journey, this time, with Donna. There're gonna be many nights without any sleep, maybe arguements between you two, but since doing it together with the woman you love, everything is gonna be alright."
Mike assures, take the glass away from Harvey's hand.
"Stop drinking! You're not sober anymore. Let's me take you home, it's quite late now."
Mike helps Harvey get home since he can even walk by himself. They enter the flat where Donna and Rachel has been talking happily.
"Oh my god, what's wrong with Harveh."
Donna asks worriedly and rushes to Harvey.
"He drank quite a lot."
Mike explains.
"Thanks for bringing him home Mike. Harvey doesn't usually drink like this."
"He has many things want to tell you Donna."
Mike smiles.
"What do you mean?"
Donna asks.
"I mean what I said... Anyway, we should leave, good night Donna and Harveg
Mike says and gets out of the flat with Rachel.
"I'll get you some water Harvey."
Donna says and about to leave.
"I'm still fine Donna."
Harvey grabs her arm and murmurs.
"You drank a lot, what's wrong?"
Donna knows Harvey would never drank so much unless there's something in his mind.
"It's about you. It has always been about you."
Harvey sighs.
"I just realize that I'm extremely careless and you're so good at hiding your feeling, that's why it takes us so long to be together. But somehow, I'm finally where I'm supposed to be, your flat, that night. And here we are, after 12 years, waiting for our child."
Harvey turns to Donna and holds her hands.
"Hey, you're gonna make me cry."
Donna says with eyes already full with tears.
"I'm just getting started, the beginning of our new life."
Harvey smiles, and stands up to head to the CD player.
"Are you free for a dance now, Mrs. Paulsen?"
"Always, Specter."
Donna says and pulls he closer. The music is on, one of Gorden's songs. With a big smile on their face, they lean into each other and dance with the music.
