Everyone stares at me like I have an octopus stuck on my face.
"Thanks April,I'll take it from here," Jason walks to us.
"Sure,Alpha."
"You look amazing," he whispers to me,laying his hand gently on the small of my back and leading me to where the rest of the guys are."Er...guys,this is Gwen Brooklyn. She's my new assistant. Brooklyn: Hunter, Sona,Katie,Cliff,Eva,"he introduces and I wink at Cliff.
"Nice to meet you all," I smile at Eva.Jason then went on to explain the nature of the business I was diving into.We were looking for someone, someone who was the leader of the Free Masons Organization. It was said of him that he had been the greatest there was .He moved the organization to a higher keel before his retirement, but he had a score with... the Turners?I really didn't get that part.And why am I involved in this again? "Brooklyn, this will be our new HQs,your office is right opposite mine at the end of the hallway.Tecna's the computer,she runs the whole building, and has information on anything you'd wanna know. The stud on your eyebrow has a camera, in case we need to use it." he explained after the meeting was over.
"OK,now can I go back to school?"
"Sure,take the black jeep," he throws the keys at my face.
"You're not driving me back? You brought me here,dumbass!"
"Feel free to stay longer,princesa.Hasta luego."
"Oh no I won't see you ever again! Stupid primate!!" I shout as he walks away."And by the way,you stink at Spanish, so stop trying! "
The jeep was breathtaking alright. "Beautiful baby," I say,running my hands over it.
"Talking to ourselves now,are we?" April smiles at me.I smile back.
"I'm a minute late already,and your fool of a brother just abandoned me here."
"Then don't go.Better never than late,"
"I'm pretty sure it's better late than never."
"Whatever,, I'll take you somewhere nice."
"What of school? My friends are there,you know."
"So that's a yes?Great!"
"April-"
"Come on!"

"OK,let's live!" I smile as she takes the driver's seat.April was of medium height,just a few inches taller than me.She was blessed with thee hourglass figure. Her hair hang halfway down her back,and she had envious babyhair.She parked the jeep in a field filled with trees, sort of a garden, and turned to
me,"come meet and greet".There was a small bungalow at the furthest end of the field.Benches were all over,and a rose bush blossomed gloriously beside the house,which was hidden by an apple orchard.It was beautiful."Hey guys,"she says as we approach a group of three guys and two girls. OK,I think I already know Hunter,Cliff,Sona and... Jason. How did they get here anyway?
"Howdy?Surprised?" Jason smiles. Why???Why???Oh why does he have to look this good!Don't stare,Gwen.Don't.
"Cliff!!I missed you!" I ignore him and embrace my best friend.
"Thanks."
"Hey,am giving you one chance to correct that."
"Er...thanks a lot ?" he smirks."OK,I missed you big,bestie,"he pouts playfully.
"Oh,meet Bridget.Bridget McAnjay," Jason says.
"Oh,hey there," I smile.
"She's just a little more...advanced than Tecna,and is in charge of IT.She's an android." Shut.Up!!
"For real?I love those things!" Oops,that came out so wrong. "Am sorry-"
"Its ok,I get that a lot."
"Show her,McAnjay," April says in excitement. She uses both hands to twist her head before literally detaching a section of it to reveal a meshwork of wires and...more wires.
"Whoa!!"
"Let's get to work? I hear you love science."
"Yeah,this should be fun!" This will be fun.
