"Ok then.You see,your mum-"Oh heavens!So we're doing this,again.I can't help but let out a breath."I won't ask you about her,relax.The reason she was...well...murdered,by those wolves,was because she was a wolf herself."

"Let me explain."

"Guilty as charged,"he nods.Someone please slap me awake!!
"And me?I...I'm..."I didn't even want to allow myself to think of it."I'm surrounded by animals,"I say silently as I scoot away from him.
"I'm still not sure,coz you haven't shifted ,but I think you're one of us."
"Now I really need some fresh air."I get up.
"You don't have to be scared.I never harmed you before,and I don't plan to start now.I understand that you need time to take in all this,but you need to be proud of your identity,because you can't change it."
"So that explains why my dad kept so much stuff from me,"I say,my head resting in my palm,eyes set straight on him.
"And the itching of your fingers,nails...plus you heal real quick.Those are just a few character traits."
"And there's always voices speaking to me;it's usually so clear...and this whole mate stuff...christ!"
"Do this,have a seat,right here,"he pulls me to the bed and sits me down,then he pulls a stool and sits right in front of me.
"There's you,and there's your wolf.I don't know why you haven't shifted yet,but it's totally normal to like...converse with your wolf.And about mating...a mate is...a soulmate;your life partner.When you shift,you'll pick up a scent.Just...follow it,and it'll lead you to m-to your mate.You'll get the hang of it soon."
"So I can shift?"
"Let's just wait and see."
"I wonder why I never shifted?I wonder if my mum and Phoebe knew about this too.Betrayal."
"I guess there's a good reason behind the silence."
"Hey,just because you told me all this doesn't mean I like you.You're still the same arrogant annoying kid."

Jason's pov
It was just too cold.No exaggeration.I needed a getaway.Stretching out my arm to feel if Gwen was on her side of the bed,I turned to lie on y side.But it was empty."Gwen?"I called out sleepily,but there was no reply.Maybe she just went to the washrooms.I pull the blanket up to cover me to my neck before falling back asleep.I don't know for how long I had slept,but I was startled by what felt like someone standing by the bedside.Cautiously,I reached for my spot light by the bed and turned it on."Oh my God,"was all I could manage to say as the light hit the image before me.I quickly lit the lamp that usually sat on the bedside table and once again,turned to take in the beauty that stood before me.There she stood,in all the glory of her wolf form.Pure white fur,dark shining eyes and a perfect flawless body.On the upper side of her left eye was a tiny scar-like thingy,and she stared up at me with a gentle look in her amazing eyes.Squatting to reach her current height,I gently stroke her fur as I run my fingers through them."You're beautiful,"I say,bringing my head to hers then placing a kiss on her neck.Finally,I had seen my promise,and I loved every single bit of it.I could have spent the rest of the night staring at her beauty,because she was by far the most beautiful wolf I had ever set my eyes on,but she needed to rest already."You're so beautiful,"and mine,all mine."You need some sleep.Im not sure where you left your clothes,so-"I turn and pick up my shirt from earlier then put it down in front of her,my other hand still on her neck."Just think about your human form,then you'll shift back."I get up and let her get the privacy she needed,ignoring the fact that she would have nothing underneath that t-shirt once she was done.
