"Jason we need to talk about getting rid of the clone,"Cliff announced as soon as I accepted the call.
"HQs?"
"Sure."
"Ok,be there in ten,"I say and hang up.Some minutes later,we were all seated around the table:Maddie,Cliff,Eva,Danny,April,McAnjay,Sona,Katie,Bill and I.Only Gwen was missing.We would update her on everything.Meanwhile,the current Gwen was grounded.But I couldn't blame her parents for that.The clone was a pain in the arse.I wonder if they even knew what sort of job she was doing.Gwen did not need a part time job;that's a fact so undeniable.She had everything.Her father was the ambassador,for sanity's sake.She should be going on those girl trips every other week and shit like that,but here she was,helping find some stupid former FMI leader.Unless she had another reason for working with us...
"So...about the clone?"Bill spoke up,bringing me out of my thoughts.
"We should rid ourselves of that nightmare already ,"Katie said.
"How?"Maddie asked.
"Simple:Since she was made about two weeks ago,her system's not that...strong,considering the fact that her little trip out of the lab to Greece was a mistake.We could find a way,maybe using some chemicals to slowly weaken her till she's no more,"April shrugs.
"Mean,"Sona mutters.
"Who will be in charge of the chemicals,since Gwen isn't here?"
"I think I have a better idea,simpler even,"Eva smiles brightly,and I turn to her.We all listen as she explains her plan,and I had to agree,it was much better,beneficial actually.In the end,everyone wins.
"Great!So let's get on with it.Hunter can we talk?"I get up."And could someone check on Tecna?I think there's some connection problem or something.Sona?"
"Of course,right away,"her accent always seems to drip from every syllable she utters.
"Er...sorry to 'Pry',but are we missing something?You've been so,and I mean so concerned about Gwen of late.Last time I checked,you two hated each other's guts,"April gives me a knowing smile.
"Well...she's my mate,"I try to fight the smile that appears on my face.
"Ooooh,don't fight it bro.Smile all you want,"she says teasingly.
"Just shut up,"I look away from her.
"Take care of her,and about her.The girl's got a temper,"Danny says.
"Of course,and you take care of Eva,"I wink at her and she looks away as everyone turns to her."We should talk about you two some time."
"Whatever,just go already Jason,"she gets up and pushes me out.

I swear,I was going insane.If I don't see Gwen soon,I would call her dad and let him know.I was so worried about her.If her dad realised that he was housing an impostor,then we were done for.I take my phone and dial the Landons' residence.
"Hello,"a female voice says on the other end.
"Er hello,"
"Jason?Is that you son?"Phoebe says,and I smile lightly.
"Yes,I wanted to ask how Gwen is doing,and Mr. Landon."
"Oh,she's fine,just mad at us for grounding her.And Frank is fine too.How is your business?"
"Good,all good.I'm sorry,on behalf of Gwen,for everything."
"Oh,no need to apologise.You're not to blame."Heck yes I am!
"Ok,have a great night then."
Gwen's pov
Ok,I'm guessing they're done already;I hope so.And I also hope they know what they're doing,coz if I land in some Godforsaken desert,I'll kill all of them.
"I think I'm leaving now Monty."I sigh as I look at my watch.It had gone off after I received some signal from Sona.I didn't even get to know what she had to say because of the low battery,but I took it as my cue.
"So...I guess this is goodbye,"I hate darn goodbyes.
"...goodbye Monty.I sure will miss youI mean,I still can't believe I actually stayed in ancient Greece.It's all like a dream,but I hope we'll meet again?Later in life?I don't know,"I say.
"I hope so too,Gwen.And in case I never said it,I love your hair,"he smiles.Ah!His smile!
"Thanks."Then came the weird moment of silence:that moment when you don't know if you should cry,smile,hug him,shake hands or just scram.I smiled nervously up at him.
"Hey,relax.You'll get back just fine,"he holds my shoulders and looks straight down at me.Once he let go,I stand on my tip toes and peck him on the cheek.
"Goodbye Monty."Anxiety.Freaking anxiety

I walk out of the shower,dubbing my hair dry as I try to think of a distraction.Then I smell it;lavender with a hint of chocolate cookies and crushed mint."Gwen?"I say to no one in particular.Maybe it's just me missing her.I push back the thoughts of her and walk to my closet.
"Jason can I come in?"
"Not now April,just put away the grocery."The door swings open as soon as I'm done talking."Hey!!I thought I-"What the...!I must be dreaming."Gwen?"
"I-"
"It's actually you,right?"I touch her shoulder and she backs away.
"Get off!Why is everyone acting all clingy!"
"Stop it already.Just admit that it's you,"April walks in."I calked her place and Frankie said that the other Gwen is in her room."
"Hello,just because I sneaked-"A loud thud followed by a pain -filled shriek was heard downstairs Both April and I rushed down,leaving a not-so-concerned Gwen standing there.
"Ow!Did that seriously have to happen!"an annoyed female voice asks.
"Gwen!!!"April exclaims.But I don't move.I just stand there staring at her,then at her clone,who was now standing beside me."Gwen!"she pulls her into a hug,and they embrace each other as a delightful smile appears on her face,loose strands of hair falling on the sides of her face.
"I missed you,"Gwen says happily.
"What is going on here?How did you get here?"
"Well,evening to you too,Jason Turner,"she smiles,tucking some hair behind her ear and tilting her head slightly to the side,and my heart melts.
