"You are nothing but a troublesome child! I wish that you are not my daughter! And I wish that you would get lost! GET LOST!" he screamed.

He is getting really mad because I brought him the wrong kind of alcohol that he usually prefers. The strong ones like whiskey and tequila. Those are the only ones he claim that can help him get through life.

Three years after mom left this cold world, my dad lost himself and lost his job along the way. He started succumbing to alcohol drinks and became addicted to it. He has never bothered to apply for a new job. Ever since then, I have to step up and take responsibility for the both of us.

I have been working part-time whether it is at a cafe' or a carwash to support myself and him. But I mostly spend my money on dad's alcohol. Everyday he would do the same thing which is to wake up in the evening. Right after he wakes up, he would pester me to get him his alcohol. I wouldn't dare to refuse because he would hit me repeatedly. Then, he would go out to I-dont-know-where and he wouldn't return until 4-5 in the morning. And that's what he practically does every single day for the past years.

I would go to school right after he comes back home and go back right before he wakes up which is usually around 3-4pm.

This year is my senior year and I have been thinking on running away from my dad. I told myself a thousand times to wait until I finish school. Sometimes when I get really mad, I wouldn't come back home and just stay at the park until the next day. But when I get home, my father would be waiting for me and he would torture me until late at nights.

The next day, I went to school and people would stare at me and I know why. When the ring bells stating that it was lunch time, everyone started to rush out. Right when I walked out of the classrom, Mrs Seville called me, "Tamara! Can I have a word with you?"

I went back inside and said, "Yes?" I said in a dull and monotonous voice. "Are you okay, Tamara?" she asked. "I'm fine, if that's all i-" she cut me by saying, "Tamara dont lie to me! I can see by myself that you are not even close to fine! This has happened before! Tamara, please I'm your teacher, you can tell me anything and maybe I can help you!"

"I'm fine and if that is all can I be excused?"

"Okay but please remember that you can tell me anything!"

I walked out without replying to her. I was not in the mood to study or just be in the school, so i decided to skip the rest of the class.

I went to my favourite place which is the park. It is my favourite place because you could see Disneyland from here. It would remind me of the happy memories I had with her.
