"Tamara!" Susan called me from her desk.
"Yes?" I replied back.
"Tamara, dear, first of all, please dont get mad at me when you hear this!" I nodded. Then she continued, "I applied for a law course for you at a college nearby, but it is 2 hours away! You said to me the first time that you wanted to be a lawyer. So that is why 2 weeks ago, I asked for your final exam results!"
I was shocked, "Really, Susan?" tears were now starting to form in my eyes. "Thank you so much, Susan!" and I hugged her.
"Wait, that's not the best part yet!" I asked, "What?"
"You got a scholarship! You're grades were too good that they just had to give you a scholarship!" I replied by hugging her more tightly.
I whispered, "Thank you so much for everything!"
"It's nothing, dear. But from the way I see it, It seems that you had a bad past!" She said making me move away from her.
"I don't want to talk about it!" She lifted up my chin and said "It's fine, dear. You can tell me and you can also not tell me. I dont mind. It's your life and you make your own decisions, right?"
"Right, thank you so much for understanding!" I hugged her again.
"We have no time for this. You are enrolling tomorrow! We must get you ready!" I smiled at her and went back home to her house.
