I am officially a lawyer. Yesterday, I had my graduation with all my fellow classmates. Susan and James couldn't come because they had something urgent to do. I was really hoping that they would come. I can't wait to come back home to their house tomorrow. I haven't went back home for the past six months because I had a lot of exams coming up.
The next evening, I was standing in front of their porch and ringed the bell. James opened it, "Tamara! You're back!" and he hugged me.
"Yes James, I'm here!" I stated.
"Susan!! Come here this instance!" He yelled.
"Coming!" Susan yelled.
"Susan!" I yelled excitedly.
"Tamara, dear, you're back! I missed you so much! What are you still doing there? Come in!" She exclaimed animatedly before looking towards James direction, "James! Why didnt you let her in? She was standing there-"
I cut her off "I'm here now aren't I? And I am inside, am I right?"
Susan pulled me towards the living room and stated, "Come and meet my son!"
"Hello," the son greeted me. I looked up towards him and was surprised to see him standing there, "What a small world, huh?" He asked me.
"Indeed, it is," I replied.
"Great to see the both of you bonding already!" Susan stated.
At dinner, we had Susan's famous dinner meal, roastbeef. We catched up among ourselves on what has been happening in our lives.
William told me that he is currently working with his dad in his company. They are both bussinessmen. Like father like son.
That night, I couldn't sleep. I keep on tossing around my bed. I decided to go out to drink some water. I was just opening the refridgerator when someone spoke to me, "Can't sleep?"
I gasped, "William, you scared me!" I paused looking at him, "And yes for your information, I can't sleep!"
"Sorry I scared you," he said.
We were filled with silence when he spoke up, "Do you want to go out with me?" I looked at him and his facial expression was serious.
I asked him, "Go out like a date?
"Yeah."
"Sure!" I replied, which shocked the both of us. I said it without even thinking. Oh well, it had already happened!
