We have been going out for almost six months. Susan and James were so happy for us when they found out that we were dating. Susan kept on saying things like, "Oh, I really want to see a wedding soon," and "I'm afraid that I will not have the opportunity to see my grandchildren," It really annoys William when his mother says those things and I would just smile.
William asked me to go out with him that night. He asked me to wear something fancy. I decided to wear a tight black dress that stopped above my knee and a pair of black heels. Susan made me wear make-up but I warned her to apply it naturally.
When I was ready, William came inside my room and said, "You look beautiful! Are you ready to go?"
I nodded and said, "You don't look too bad yourself!" and he just smiled.
He took me to an expensive restaurant and the food was amazing.
We were eating our deserts, when he stood up and knelt down, "Tamara, I know that my mom has been pestering us, well me exactly to get married. I am not proposing to you because of my mom but, because I am in love with you. And now, I want to spend the rest of my life with you," he paused.
He pulled out a ring, "Will you marry me?"
I let out a single tear and said, "Yes of course, William!"
"That was my mom's wedding ring, by the way." He stated.
"She knows?" I asked and he nods.
"I love you, Tamara,"
"I love you too,"
I have never been more happier than this.
