It's a sunset afternoon, all you can hear is the rhythm of spoon, fork and plate with the buzz of a glass. Guests are busy chatting with each other, Ghetto's are monsters to think that they would eat those foods in just a gulp while the elites are having their get-to-know shake hands or should I say "get more investors" session. For goodness sake, this is MY wedding reception, but what can I do? My father is a businessman, My husband is an investor and I am an accountant, hell! Everything in this world surround business, even here.
"Hello everyone! I am Mikha your speaker for tonight!", a beautiful man stood up in front of the stage.
"Hello", the crowd on chorus.
"Alright, so why are we here?", he logically asked.
"It's Trish & Jeff's wedding celebration!", a man in the crowd shouted.
"Of course! Before we start our program let us all congratulate our newly married couple Trish Marco and Jeffrey Lucas!", instantly the mass had given us their warm applause and everybody said 'congratulations'.
I felt his hands on mine tightened. Jeff is giving me his sweetest smile. I kissed him on his cheeks that made the crowd more alive and scream like they're veins ignite.
As the happenings happen, somebody bellowed, "Hey, hey, hey! Don't start the program yet, Why am I not invited?", He caught our attention.
That familiar voice surprised me. I am not expecting his presence today, but I am glad he made it.
"Hey, Niko, why are you here? What's with your issue? Not invited? Fuck you!", my dad showed him his dirty finger.
"Yeah, I am not invited and that's bullshit!", then he rubbed his forehead.
"Hey, you guys stop that!", preoccupied of the tension, I didn't notice that my husband already walk-on the stage and tried to restrain my dads.
Armand is my dad, he is my real dad.
Niko is also a father to me, step-dad.
"You shut up Jeff!", my step-dad yelled at him.
"Yeah, It's our argument your out of it!", my real dad added. Yes, I know it's awkward tagging my fathers biologically, I'm more comfortable with their names since we are not close, well, except for one, my step-dad; Niko.

ALONE in a midnight burger stall, busy preparing orders for a Hawaiian party there is a black Audi parked in front of the stall. A man came out in his elite vehicle walking towards the stall with his cream Billabong shorts wearing V-neck white shirt and blue polo with its yellow-red floral designs.
He sat on the round chair and removed his eyeglasses. I guess he is a 30 - year older than me, I am 20.
I must say he is awesome, bright blue eyes, muscled fit body that made him seductively hot. Her wife must be kinda possessive and lucky. I wish I could have a man like him.
A snap distracts me and he caught my attention.
"Hey Miss? Is that my order?", he asked me frankly.
"Oh yeah, Hundred orders of special burgers all for you.", I handed him the paper bags and the bill. He eagerly read the details and took his wallet.
"Here $200 keep the change.", then he left me standing with an open-mouth.
"Well, if you insist thank you, sir ", I said with a loud voice and waved in his departing elite car.
A white thick paper fell into the floor, I picked it and flipped.

"No Trish, It's been 4 months since you paid your rent, Business is business in fact your apartment is already occupied. I'm sorry.", She told me in a loud tone.
"Sorry too. I'm just out of the budget that is why I can't pay you", I added while picking up my bags on the ground.
"It's okay for me, but we also need money, You know how much I love you", Her voice cracked.
"Don't worry, I'm going to pay you", I assured her.
"No, Treat it as a gift. Save your money for your enrollment."
"Thank you", I finally said as I walked out of her domain.
