I blink twice, nervously. Unsure what to do. I lean back, 'Step back.' I whisper to Jinendra, he blinked and he and Chikorita stepped back but before they did he whispered 'Arcanine, save us now.'
Arcanine? Oh yeah, I think he still believes Arcanine is a legendary. I mean, I can't blame him.
Back to business, um
'Well go on, fight . . . Me!' I squeak.
What am I doing?!
'Kamau, what are you doing?!' The whisper of a judging Jinendra doesn't help me, you know.
Kobayashi raised a brow, then shrugged. 'With pleasure.'
'Pikachu, use double kick!'
Pikachu's ears twisted down in fear, as it looked at me. Frozen by guilt, the made Kobayashi mad!
'Hey, I said use double kick! Or I'll kick you!' Once he realised Pikachu wasn't responding he growled and prepared to kick the Pikachu.
I gasped and rammed myself into Kobayashi, I covered his eyes with one hand and took the Pikachus Pokéball away from the kids belt. He squirmed and kicked me off, making me land roughly against the grass.
He growled loudly, but before he could say anything he was picked up by the school teacher. 'And just what do you boys think you're doing? Fighting each other like that? I hope you two have a good explanation for me, alone.'
She dragged me away, with Kobayashi. But before has got a hold of me, I returned Pikachu and quickly threw it to Jinendra. Lucky the boy can catch!
Well, awkward explanations here I come!
