the next morning, we left for niagara falls in the morning and arrived before ten a.m..
once we checked into the hotel, i invited somi to my hotel room to hang out. we spent our time going through the clothes we bought from all the times we went shopping.
"wait unnie!" somi said, holding up a denim skirt.
"what?"
"remember this and that baby blue shirt you bought at times square?" somi said. "you should wear it today!"
"ahh," i nodded. "okay."
we stirred up some cup ramen for lunch because we missed the taste. it was nice to watch the waterfalls out through the hotel window as we ate.
afterwards, we got ready to meet the other teenagers down at the lobby.
"oh my gosh, you look so cute unnie!" somi complimented.
"you look cute!" i said.
somi looked adorable in pink, no lies there.
"eomma, i'm gonna go now!" i swung the straps of my small bag onto my shoulders and bid goodbye to my mom.
it was almost two p.m., which was the time chaeyoung had set for us to meet up.
once somi and i got into an elevator, i pressed the button for the lobby and we started traveling downwards. then it stopped in the middle, the doors sliding open to let chaeyoung and dahyun in.
"ooh, minjoo in a skirt!" chaeyoung looked my outfit up and down while somi beamed proudly beside me.
"i see you, dressing up for hyunjin, huh?" dahyun grinned.
i rolled my eyes and shook my head. i was used to them teasing me by now, it's been four days.
we arrived at the lobby floor and found the boys already there, so we immediately left for clifton hill.
"the weather's so nice today," i smiled. i was in an unusually happy mood. then, i heard somi give a small giggle. i asked, "what's so funny?"
"unnie, you know... you're kind of matching clothes with seungmin oppa," she said quietly.
i looked at seungmin and realized what somi meant.
"baby blue top, denim bottom," somi added.
"oh... you're right, haha," i said awkwardly.
inside my head, i was thinking, i hope no one notices, especially seungmin himself! that would be embarrassing as hell.
we reached the clifton hill street of fun, and started walking uphill.
"i bet you can't make that basket," felix challenged jisung, pointing at a basketball arcade.
"psh, what? that's easy," jisung said. "wanna go?"
"why not?"
we watched felix and jisung shoot baskets and laughed when neither of them were successful in making three shots in a row.
we stopped by many more arcades after that, not knowing that time was passing by quick.
"oh my god," chan gasped. "it's. dance. dance. revolution."
a series of gasps followed, and we all looked at each other with let's-do-it expression. we decided who would go against who tournament style, and somehow i ended up with seungmin?
hyunjin was automatically sent to the final round.
dahyun won against chan.
"ha HA!" dahyun beamed.
"darn it, avenge me felix!" chan demanded.
to chan's delight, felix won against somi.
"aHhhHHh-" somi complained.
felix fiercely dabbed at least fifty times.
next, chaeyoung lost to jisung.
"noona, you're too old for dance dance revolution," jisung joked.
"rOAsted!" felix shouted as chaeyoung prepared to hit jisung.
i beat seungmin, but i'm pretty sure he purposely let me win. when i accused him, he just shrugged and smiled.
i lost to dahyun in the next round anyway.
after a couple more rounds, the final battle between felix and hyunjin began.
"it's the battle between the fortnite kings-"
"ESKETIT!" felix yelled as the song started.
felix and hyunjin's feet moved so fast, how do they do that?
their scores were neck to neck until hyunjin's last minute sprint won him the title of dance dance revolution king of the day. he even winked towards the rest of us while running his hand through his hair, which was very unnecessary. (and R00D)

after using up all of our energy dancing, we were extrememly hungry. we ate dinner, then explored the area a little more.
"guys, the sun's setting!" somi pointed at the sky.
it was indeed, and the sky was tinted with pink and orange.
"time to take aesthetic photos," dahyun started posing in front of chaeyoung, who took her phone out.
the view was truly breathtaking -- i hadn't stood still to watch a sunset in so long. it was even better to watch it near waterfalls.
i might have stared in awe for a little too long, because i didn't realize everyone had started moving along until somi shouted my name.
"where are we going now?" i asked.
"dessert time!" somi said cheerfully.
we arrived near a big ferris wheel which its lights were shining in a spectrum of colors by now, since the sun had completely set.
"we should ride that!" dahyun exclaimed, pointing at the wheel.
"yeah, but i'm hungry," felix complained, although we had dinner not very long ago.
i was looking around the area when i spotted a funnel cake shop.
"why don't we get some funnel cakes?"
everyone agreed without a doubt, and the food was delicious. however, it wasn't enough to satisfy our nine hungry stomachs.
"i have an idea," chaeyoung said. "and it includes eating ice cream."
that last part sparked literally all of our interests.
"just eat it!" was what chaeyoung said once we each bought an ice cream cone.
we were hesitating because she had told us she had an idea...
i shot a suspicious glance at a grinning chaeyoung, then started eating my ice cream.
eh. whatever she was planning couldn't be that bad.
