I glanced to my right. Wally was fast asleep in the passenger seat. Bludhaven is a few hours away from Gotham and we have to drive my stuff to the apartment we are moving into today. He already took his things over yesterday so he is pretty tired.

We are moving into a small apartment about fifteen minutes away from the police department for me and close enough to the college where Wally got a research job so that he won't burn through his shoes running there every day. It's been a couple months since he asked me to move in with him and we've been planning ever since. I started working in Bludhaven, traveling by Zeta Tube to get there every day, just to make sure I could actually get a stable job there before moving. Wally did the same thing, securing a job and running there each day before move in day.

I saw the apartment building as I rounded the corner and I carefully tapped Wally's shoulder. "Wally, wakey wakey," I said, looking at him every few seconds. Since becoming a full time police officer I've gotten good at multitasking while driving. Obviously I multitasked anytime I drove the Batmobile but the Batmobile had better tech. Where I could normally just read the license number to the computer or Alfred and get instant info I have to actually type the license plate into a computer with one hand while driving in a car chase.

"Wally," I said a little louder and gently shoved him.

"Are we there?" Wally asked as he yawned and stretched.

"Yeah babe," I said and pulled into the building garage. As soon as I had parked Wally had sped to my side and opened the door for me. I rolled my eyes at his antics and he sped off back and forth between the trunk grabbing luggage to the apartment before I had even gotten out of the car. "What was that for?" I asked as he stopped in front of me, having already taken all the luggage and boxes up.

"So I can do this," Wally said with a smirk and tripped my legs out from under me, lifting me into his arms. I laughed as in a gush of wind we were suddenly in front of the door.

"I was here yesterday helping with your things Wally. Don't think this was necessary again," I said with a pointed look as he bumped the door open with his hip.

"Of course it is. My boyfriend deserves a grand gesture every day," Wally said and spun us around upon entering the apartment.

The apartment was fairly small. It was just the two of them after all. It had a kitchen with a bar like seating at the small island. There was no dining room area but they didnt often eat in a dinning room anyways. The kitchen led into the living space. On the left wall was a door leading to the master bedroom with a connected bathroom. On the right wall was a guest room that they intended to use as an office. Attached was another bathroom for guests, if they ever have any.

"Welcome home babe," Wally said and pressed a kiss to Dick's lips, who was still in his arms.
