Dick couldn't move. Couldn't breathe. He dropped his weapons and didn't recognize Artmis running over to him to catch him as he dropped to his knees.
"Dick, look at me. Are you okay?" Artemis asked quickly, still in shock herself. Dick didnt respond and his eyes remained dead ahead, scanning over the yellow uniform and the unmoving man.
Tim was the first to start moving after Artemis and rushed forward to Wally. Impulse close behind. "He has a pulse! He's alive!" Tim yelled suddenly as he put his fingers at Wally's neck.
Suddenly Dick was crouched behind Wally, tears streaming down his face, and checking him over for injuries like Tim was doing. "We need to get him back to the mountain. Contact Agent A and then the rest of the Flash family. Dont tell them what is going on incase... something happens," Dick started ordering, jumping into leader mode, "Everyone get in the bioship!"
Dick slipped one arm under Wally's knees and the other under the Wally's back. Once inside the bioship a cot like structure rose up and Dick placed Wally on it, checking the older's pulse again and again to make sure he was alive and he was real. Tears kept streaming down Dick's face and he didn't realize he was sobbing until Artemis wrapped him in her arms, telling him it would be okay now.
Finally they reached the mountain and Batman, Agent A, and the Flash family was waiting, still not knowing what was going on. When Dick rushed out of the bioship with Wally in his arms gasps echoed through the room but Agent A burst into action by instructing them too the med bay and hooking Wally up to machines, looking him over.
After about an hour of Alfred looking Wally over, he gave the report to who was in the room still. Everyone but Dick, Flash, and Batman had been kicked out of the room long ago. "He looks to be in perfect health. Really the only problem he has is exhaustion. He should wake up soon and when he does he will need some food and water immediately. His body temperature is also a little low, but I recon everyone who was at the arctic today is a little cold so it is nothing to worry about," Alfred informed.
Dick felt Bruce place a hand on his shoulder and Dick visibly relaxed. "He is okay," Bruce said slowly and gently so Dick really heard it.
Dick felt tears falling down his cheeks again and he reached out and held one of Wally's hand. Dick kept his fingers on Wally's wrist the entire time making sure his pulse was still there. Reassuring himself that Wally really was alive. Slowly everyone else dwindled from the room to go inform everyone on the team that Wally was alive and would remain so. Flash was last to leave and wrapped Dick in a quickly huh before leaving Dick alone with his unconscious long lost fiancee.
