Dick opened the next box, freezing up at the contents. "You okay babe?" Wally asked, as he saw Dick just staring.
"Yeah, it's just...my uniforms," Dick said.
"Oh," Wally said slightly surprised, "Figured they would be in some super secret case."
Dick chuckled a little, "I would have but that would be pretty suspicious. Besides, it's not my current one."
"Its not Robin?" Wally asked and walked over.
"Nightwing," Dick said as he held up the outfit.
"You thinking about it again?" Wally asked.
"I can't be Robin forever. Besides, I passed that mantle down. This time for good," Dick said.
"Can you even still fit into that thing?" Wally asked as he wrapped his arms around Dick and looked over his shoulder at the outfit in his hands.
"Doubtful," Dick said with a laugh, "However, it may serve for some inspiration."
*hours later*
"So, I stopped by the manor real quick to grab that box we forgot. Anyways, I asked Alfred to help throw this together for me," Dick said with a laugh, walking into the kitchen with a mask on his face and new uniform on.
Wally looked him up and down, letting out a low whistle, "Definitely my favorite so far. Ditching the cape really shows off your ass."
"Wally, be serious. Its kevlar so it'll hold up against a hell of a lot. I was thinking a little less vibrant than Robin so figured the black and blue would be best," Dick said sheepishly.
"You look great Dick," Wally said and pressed a kiss to Dick's lips.
"Hands off my ass, right now," Dick said sending Wally a glare. Wally put his hands up in surrender.
A moment later Wally looked serious, "Speaking if hero work, what are we doing?" Dick glanced out the window, looking out over Bludhaven.
"Gotham has all the help it needs so I figure, especially with the new name Nightwing, that I would work here. They are hero less after all," Dick said.
Wally nodded and stood beside the window with Dick, "I'm going to stick with Central for a little while. I've got to make sure Barry has all the help he needs. If that's alright with you."
"Of course," Dick said, "I understand. In the meantime, you have to start unpacking." Wally let out an unhappy whine. "I've been here for less than a day and I'm unpacked. Your stuff has been here for over two days and all your stuff is in boxes," Dick chastized.
"Fine," Wally muttered and started walking towards the bedroom to get started, "But y'know we could just unpack in the morning. After all our bed got here while you were out."
Dick glanced over in surprise but shook his head, "It'd be a shame not to put it to use, test it out." Dick disappeared into the bedroom behind Wally.
A few moments later Wally let out a cry of annoyance, "I change my mind, the old uniform was better. Where the hell is the zipper?!"
