I hopped out of my bed into my in-suite bathroom getting ready for my second day of senior year in high school, being a Geek like me or well at least that's what I've been called since I can remember it's not the most welcoming place for a person like me. My motivation is that this is my last year then off to Harvard University, to pursue my goal of being one of the most powerful attorneys of all time.
I can't seem to shake that dream last night it all seemed so real. The first part of the dream I wish was real that would have been my first kiss, that would have been one hell of a first kiss. Second part not so much it was like a nightmare, I must have been tossing and turning in my sleep because when I woke up my body ache a little especially my neck. Surprisingly I'm not tired, when I wake up from a bad dream I usually wake up feeling exhausted dreading the long day at that prison and they call school.
Getting out of the shower I walk over to the mirror while wrapping in the tower around my body, and my skin seemed more paler than it's usual pale skin I already have. I blowdried my hair slid on my oversize Clothes, that apparently seen to Shrank overnight. I pacifically remember buying all my clothes two sizes bigger so that they will fit me comfortable, that a good thing I don't take the tags off until I wear them and I always keep my receipts because these clothes are going back today after school. I slid on my black flat grabbed my backpack and went downstairs to my mothers delicious breakfast, ready to get my day started.
Walking in the kitchen I say good morning to my mom and dad giving them both a kiss on the cheek, before sitting down taking a bite of my bacon. Surprisingly it don't taste so tasty this morning for some reason.
"Good morning sweetheart you look beautiful, you seem to taken my thoughts into consideration and bought yourself some clothes that actually fit this year." That's the point I didn't buy clothes that fit. "And I see you're wearing the contacts Lance I bought you over the summer." What i'm not where my glasses, wow I can actually see without them i'm not going to say anything for now about being able to see because I'm still in shock myself. "look at your hair." she said walking over to me gently snatching out the ponytail holder that I had safely wrapping my hair into what I like to call it bun, she started to stroke her fingers through my hair. "Honey your hair looks so shiny are you using some new condition I don't know about." Okay now she's starting to scare me know if it shows any attention to my attire, I knew she thought that I was beautiful but now I can see the pride in her eyes. "honey look at Bella, she just radiant this morning."
"Yes sweetie our Bella is a beauty." My father said not taking his eyes off of the morning paper, to be honest I'm a little happy he don't show that much of attention. Because right now my mother is showing enough for a lifetime, I don't think I can handle anymore this early in the morning.
"Mom i must get going now, I don't wanna running late for school. I'll see you tonight." I hopped up grabbing my keys to my little yellow Volkswagen beetle, in made my way to school.

I pulled up in the school parking lot with 15 minutes to spare I decided to rush to my locker, so that I can be one of the first ones in class to get a seat in the back. I may be smart but I hate sitting in the front of the class, I don't like the attention that I get from teachers. The students already called me the teachers pet, I can't help it that I'm their favorite student.
"Isabella....." That voice sounds familiar, but I decided to ignore the voice because guys don't talk to me unless they want me to do a homework assignment. And I refuse, I have better things to do on my time then do extra homework that don't benefit me.
"Isabella....." Okay now this guy is starting to annoy me, can't he get a hint that I am not buying what he's selling.
"WHAT....." I look up to see those familiar icy blue eyes, I just got lost in his hypnotizing eyes. I started to think of my dream from last night, oh hell no, then l snapped out of it fast." I haven't seen around town or at the school before, i'm pretty sure someone told you that I'm Bella the Geek that does everyone's homework. This year is different, I am focusing on me and Harvard University and I don't have time to do any homework but mines.
"Can I walk you to class, seeing that we have the same Advance Chemistry class with Mrs. Compton. In Bella I'm much capable of handling my work load, what do you say can I walk you too class or are you going to make me walk along." He said with Smug look that I wanted to slap off, in kiss at the same time.
"I guess we can walk together, since were going to the same class." I said closing my locker in starting to walk alongside him to class.
"So.....Bella tell me a little bit about yourself?" He said gesturing for me to take his arm, I would have refuse but it was such a gentleman move.
"How about you start off by telling her name guy....?"
"My name is Derek Grayson, I moved here from Romania with my uncle who raised me ever since my parents died when I was young." He said it so nonchalantly, like talking about your deceased parents as if it's no big deal.
"I'm sorry to hear that, it must be awful to lose both your parents."I said leaning in a little to comfort him more, the best way I know-how.
"It's okay Bella, it happens ages, besides I would like to hear all about you." He said so calmly making me feel somewhat important to him intriguing him, so I decided to tell him all about my boring life. How are plan on being this big time lawyer one day, taken this world by storm.
Half of the day is over and it seems that Derek as all of my classes weird right, he seems to be pretty smart maybe even smarter than me. It seems he has the total package beauty brains and built athletic background in sport, he's trying out for the football team after school today. He thinks if I try out for sports this year I'll have a better chance to get into Harvard or whatever, I just laughed at that I'm not really the athletic type but he bids the differ.
I'm currently walking to lunch, but the second I into the cafeteria all the different aromas tub that my stomach, in not in a good way. So I decided to go outside behind the courtyard, I wasn't really feeling hungry just thirsty very thirsty. I wanted to read a chapter or two of the Maze Runner apparently I'm trying to finish the book before the actual movie comes out. I always find it's much better to read the book first, it just makes me all the more want to watch the movie when it comes out
"What......You......Doing?" I look up to those amazing big blue icy eyes and smiled once I've seen Derek, he was caring a lunch bag and his hand. "May I have a seat." I motioned to the spot next to me for him to take a seat. He opened his lunch bag and pulled out a silver coffee container with a black lid and the most intoxicating scent hit my nose and I moan, apparently that didn't go unnoticed to Derek because he just chuckled and said. "I have two do you want one Bella, I stop by the teacher lounge to warm it up is much better warm. It's a homemade all natural drink that I make I learned the recipe from my Uncle, I promise you'll love it I just can't get enough of it." I wanted to say no but it was just calling for me, saying drank me, drank me you know you want to. So I'm nodded at my head and he passed my one, I took a small sips not wanting to show how amazing I thought it tasted so kelp taking small sips in between reading book. Thankfully Derek didn't ask me anymore questions he just sat there waiting for the bell to ring, so we can walk to our next class.

On my way home from school, I realized that today is the first day I haven't felt lonely all because of Derek. I think that maybe he's a little too good to be true, he's like a Greek God and I just this Geek. I notice that I been getting a lot of stairs from guys, I don't know if it's because I was hanging out with Derek the new guy or what. The girls that will usually walk past me like I'm invisible, now give me hateful jealousy looks. Some girls even spoke to me in a nice way, as if they wanted to be friends. I looked at myself in the mirror now realizing that I grew a couple of inches, and a couple of dress sizes too my curves filled out and all the right places overnight. All of this is a little weird to me I would be freaked out if I didn't like what I see, but I'm still going to have to do a little research because I'm pretty sure you don't get a growth spurt overnight. Plus miraculously gaining perfect eyesight overnight to, and my hair, my mom was right, my skin is just perfect yeah my skin is a little on the pale side but wow.
