*Eren's POV*

"Hanji!" Eren called as he walked into the newspaper office. The brunette's head popped up from a tall stack of papers, shooting Eren a smile once she caught sight of him.

"Eren! Hey!" She called, stretching. "What's up?"

"I was wondering, can I borrow the camera? I think I know what I'll do for my next article," Eren said, walking over to her desk.

Eren had joined the newspaper, thinking it would be a great way to sort of get around at school. Not to mention, he had a reason to pry into people's personal lives. Specifically, Levi's. He was still writing his journal on the senior, but had hit a wall when he found that he couldn't find out more about him. Levi didn't spend much time with him outside of the Chemistry lab, and even then, he didn't talk to Eren unless it was about their lab. He was incredibly illusive, which frustrated Eren to no end, yet made him want to dig further into his story.

"Yeah, sure." Hanji said, handing him the Polaroid camera. "What are you thinking about writing on?"

"The seniors on the football team," Eren beamed. "I want to kind of get an inside look into them before they graduate, you know, give the rest of the school something to know about their upperclassmen."  Hanji gave him a look of approval, smiling at him.

"Alright, go for it. Though, I will warn you. The seniors are a riot, and good luck trying to get much out of Levi. He's pretty camera shy and he doesn't like people in his business--newspaper or not."

Eren frowned lightly at this tidbit of information, but he was determined.

"Thanks, Hanji. But I'm sure I can wrestle some info out of him. Who can resist this cute face?" Eren grinned, putting on his cutest smile. Hanji laughed again, adjusting her glasses.

"Not many people, but I'm just saying. Alright my newspaper titan baby, momma's counting on you!"

Eren made his way out to the football field after school, where the practice was about to begin. He took his place in the bleachers, note pad and camera in tow, along with his book bag, which held his 'Levi Journal'. He got concerned when he didn't see the ravenette on the field, wondering if maybe he'd decided not to come. The team that was there was horsing around, pelting each other with footballs and tackling one another out of boredom.

"Oi, you little shits, stop fucking around." Eren's head whipped down toward the entry of the field, where Levi was making his way out, holding his helmet and sporting the practice uniform. Eren's heart fluttered slightly, standing up and leaning against the fence that blocked the bleachers and the football benches.

"H-Hey, um, Levi!"

Levi whipped around, his eyes locking on Eren as he stopped his walk. "What the fuck do you want, brat? I'm busy."

"Oh, I know, I'm sorry I  just--"

"Spit it out, goddamn." Levi growled. Eren felt a bit intimidated, shivering under Levi's killer glare, but made his way out to the senior.

"I just--I'm doing an article, um, for the newspaper. I was wondering if I could take pictures of the varsity team practicing?" He asked nervously, Levi's glare intensifying and making him wish he'd never even come. Levi said nothing, pondering Eren's words before turning around with a 'tch'.

"What, did that shit head Hanji put you up to this? Whatever, I don't give a shit what you do. Just don't get in our way and don't get too camera happy."

Eren nodded, glad that he was free from Levi's terrorizing glare, sitting on the bench and getting the camera ready to shoot. The coach of the team, Coach Pixis strolled out and blew the whistle, signalling the start of practice.

Eren's camera was shooting left and right as the team warmed up and practiced their plays, trying to get a variation of varsity players. But that was difficult, considering that Levi seemed to be everywhere. He was wherever the ball was, which was good for the team, but it made Eren seem like a stalker. Almost every shot he took had Levi in it. Dammit.

As the players were dismissed for a water break, the majority off them jogged to the bench where the water jug sat. Eren moved out the way, avoiding the tired football players.

"Oi, brat."

Eren jumped when he heard the familiar low voice from behind him. He mumbled a 'sorry', quickly moving out the way, assuming Levi was trying to get to the water.

"Why are you moving? I'm trying to ask you a fucking question."

Eren blinked in surprise, rubbing his elbow for no reason other than trying to play off his nervousness. "Oh, uh, I thought you were trying to get some water...What did you want to ask me?"

Levi leaned against the fence, running his hand through his hair, which was wet from sweat. He gave his hand a disgusted look, muttering something about taking a prolonged shower before turning his full attention to Eren.

"So, what exactly are you writing about?"

Eren gulped lightly, wondering why his mouth went dry when Levi just asked him one simple question.

"W-Well I'm just doing an article on the senior football players, since you know, you all will be graduating this year...."

Levi snorted, a small sneer on his lips. "Most of us anyway. God knows what will happen to that airhead Nanaba. Sorry. Continue."

Eren let out a force chuckle, trying not to upset this very abnormally kind version of Levi. "Ah, so my intention is to do small interviews of all the seniors on the team, give a little history about them and what they plan to do once they're out of high school....that sort of thing."

Levi nodded in understanding, fiddling with a latch on his uniform. "So you're interviewing all of us, then?"

"That's the plan."

"Alright." Levi said, shaking out his hair. Eren's face flushed. All the times he'd seen boys do that, it never made his heart skip like it did when Levi did it. Levi smoothed his hair back again, looking at Eren in a bored way. "If that's the case, I'll tell them what is going on. You know, so they won't be dicks about it. If they fuck with you or anything, just tell me. I'll handle it."

Eren was somewhat shocked. Levi had never come off as so....respectful before. Huh. That was another word he could add about Levi.

"R-Really? Thanks a bunch."

"No problem, brat. Who are you thinking of interviewing first?" Levi inquired, glancing over at the rest of the team.

"Well, I don't really know..... I hadn't got that far yet." Eren admitted, his face flushing again at how he was just having such a casual conversation with the guy who nearly gave him a concussion a few weeks prior.

"Hm. Then you can start with me." Levi said, sitting upright from his place on the fence.

"Y-You want me to interview y-you first?" Eren stuttered, purely shocked. He wondered if this was a dream.

"I didn't stutter, unlike you. Yes, I do. Leading by example, you know?" Levi shrugged, pulling his helmet back on his head. "I've got to go finish up practice. I'll meet up with you afterwards, to give you my number and then we can plan it out from there." He said, clasping the helmet in place. Coach Pixis blew the whistle, and the team began to jog over. Levi gave Eren a salute, jogging back as well.

"We'll talk later brat." He called as he ran toward the field. Eren nodded, in a bit of a cloud nine. He could hardly believe Levi would allow him to interview him, especially first. He had a small mental celebration, pulling out his Levi Journal and pen.
