Universe Explanation
In this universe, Keith is 20 and Shiro is 22. Keith and Shiro never enter the Garrison, as seen by the name, and the war between the Galra and the Altean's never happened. Keith is a guitarist who just moved out of his parents house, and Shiro is a journalist working in the city. Keith is reserved and haunted by his own negative thoughts, and Shiro has a hard time making meaningful personal connections with others.
