After hanging out with both the guys you felt like nothing could ruin your last couple of months of 8th grade but as weeks went by Toshinori started hanging out with you less and less. You didn't want to prey on him as why but decided maybe he was doing his own thing but you weren't the only one who noticed.
"Oi what's with that face" Enji asked as he sat next to you during study hall. You raised your head and just shrugged which he already knew the answer. "Since today is Friday I'm coming over later Alright" he said with a monotone voice. Enji has been coming over lately but most the time you just stay quiet or you end up sleeping by the time he comes over. So you just nodded and put your head back down as he clicked his tongue annoyed as your actions but sighed and begin his homework.
Toshinori has been distant with you but he still says hi and eats with you time by time. 'Did I do something' you thought as you closed your locker tears threatening to escape. Enji saw your pained expression clutching his fist "hurry up" he towered over you as you rubbed your face and nodded.
It was silent as you guys walked towards your house but he grabbed your arm dragging you to a convenient store. "Come over pick all the snacks you want" he crossed his arm you just stared at him before you asked him why. "Cause we're going to do a all nighter. Any anime you wanna watch" he knew he would regret that as he knows you would pick some weird ones. "R-really??" Your mood suddenly changed giving him a huge smile making him scoff blushing slightly. Hurry up idiot!" He shoved a carrier towards you. "You're the best Enji!" You grabbed his arm pulling him towards the snack Aisle.
You guys walked out with a few bags a huge smile plastered on your face as Enji wallet died. "You lucky I like you" he grumbled as you just laughed. "G/N! Is it ok if Enji stays over ??" "If it's okay with his parents" she smiled. (G/n means Grama's name btw)
"Alright so if you sleep first I will draw on you just so you know" I gave him a sweet smile. "I'll kill you brat" he growled. "Oh hush!" I said shoving a pocky stick in his grumpy face. "You're so annoying" he muffled as he ate the pocky.
It was now 2:30am you would say this is still child's hour but it's been a while since you stood passed this time fighting with your heavy eyes. You guys were sitting on your floor with pillows and blankets everywhere sitting side by side shoulder to Well not your shoulder since he was much taller than you.
"Don't fall asleep now" he flicked your forehead. "Ahh what the- Hey you're not itachi!" I swapped his hand making him chuckle. "Yea Yea.. So how's your training coming along?" "Hmm it's going I just wished I had someone to train with.." your voice getting lower as images of Toshi came through. "You know I'll always be here,right?" He gave you a soft nudge. Your mouth parted slightly tears forming once more. You hated being this emotional. "You know you're ugly when you cry" he mumbled as you buried your face in his broad chest. He swore you could hear his heart beating fast. "You suck Enji" you muffled against his chest.
After finishing crying you guys ended up staying up for a couple hours more and eventually falling asleep. When you woke up you felt something warm making you go closer snuggling your face to it. "What the.." Enji opened his tired eyes to a smiling Y/N. His face soften at the sight of you he just sighed and brushed some of the stands out your face.
"I think you suck more.."
