"Jax, I'm so sorry!" I jumped out of bed and followed him to the window. "This doesn't mean I don't want to be with you. I just want some time. Please don't be angry."

"I'm not angry at you. I'm angry at fucking Morgan. I just- Argh, get some sleep." He turned away from the window and walked back over to the bed, climbing back in. Although he denied it, I knew he was angry. I lead him on! But I do like Jax; I know I want something with him. But just not right now.

---

"Pember, what's up?" I heard the voice of my good friend Juice behind me.

"Huh? Nothing, I'm fine Juice." I shrugged, trying my best to spread a smile across my pale face. Juice just looked at me, then sat down on the bike I was currently working on.

"Jayda I've known you for as long as I can remember now. I can tell that you're lying." I just let out a sigh. "It's Jax, isn't it? He's moody right now as well." I laughed a bit as I sat down opposite him.

"I do want to be with him, Juice. I really do. But after Morgan came back, I'm scared. I just want to wait a bit."

"I understand. And so does Jax. He's just angry because he cares about you so much Jayda. He'll come round." Juice stood up and gave me hug, which I returned.

"Jayda hunny, are you coming to the party tonight?" Gemma headed over as Juice went back to Bobby.

"Actually Gemma, yeah I am. Since I quit work at the diner, I'm finally available for partying." I laughed, slightly happier since Juice spoke to me.

"Good. Be here at 9."

Feeling nervous, I threw my keys on the side as I entered Jax's house. Was he even here? I walked into the spare room, heading straight for the wardrobe, searching for something to wear tonight. I settled on a tight red dress, with one strap on the right shoulder.

"Straighteners, I need straighteners!" I muttered to myself, heading for Jax's room. Pushing the door open, I saw Jax stood in just his jeans, drying his hair off with a towel. His muscly chest was bare, and I couldn't help but stare at him. He looked up, also staring at me.

"S-shit, sorry..." I muttered, edging towards the straighteners.

"It's cool. Get whatever you need." He said, turning around and pulling a shirt on. I began to leave the room. "Jax..." He turned around and stared once again, his eyes holding mine.

"What?"

"Nothing." I looked at him once more before turning and leaving, wishing he could just hold me in his arms. But then I realised that I fucked it up.

---

"Jayda! You made it!" Chibs walked over, handing me a pint of beer.

"Hey Chibs, you're looking very smart!" I giggled, taking the beer.

"Well, I gotta try sometime! You're looking beautiful yourself." He smiled.

"Is... Is Jax here?" I asked him.

"Yeah, he's right over there." I followed Chibs' stare to see Jax stood with Opie and Tig, a few girls also with them.

"Oh. Yeah, I see."

"Jayda! You look stunning!" Lyla beamed, walking over to me.

"Thank you Lyla, you look beautiful as well." I grinned hugging her. We stood talking for a while, until she went off to find Opie. I looked over to where he was with Jax and Tig, seeing only Opie and Tig now. I remembered what Juice said, about how he would come round, and went to get myself another drink.

"Could you hold this a sec Bobby? I just need to pee." I smiled, passing him my new drink.

"Jax! Jax!" I heard as I walked past his old room, nearing the bathroom. "Jackson!" What was going on? I swung the door open, feeling angry as I knew what I was going to find. And there it was - Jax in bed with one of the girls from earlier. I just stared at him.

"Jayda... Jayda!" He ran over, reaching out.

"Don't touch me! Don't fucking touch me, Jackson Teller!" I stormed out, with him following behind me.

"Jayda?!" Juice ran up to me as I walked towards the door.

"You said he cared about me! He doesn't fucking care, Juice!" I cried, the tears now flowing.
