I had not been looking forward to this game at all. In fact all week I had avoided all the practices I always attend, much to Luke's disappointment, mainly because Michael was there and if Michael was there then he would want to talk and I'm not ready for that. I'm not ready to tell Luke that Michael and I kissed, I have a thousand scenarios in my head and each one ends worse than the last. I've never been the eternal optimist. Gabby has gone back to her glasses for a while because, and I quote, she can't handle all the male attention. She needs to get a back bone. Jay and Calum have been all lovey-dovey, holding hands, kissing in the hallway, calling each other pet names. It makes me sick. Luke and I aren't the kind of couple to show off to the world that we're together, as long as the people we know and care about know that's all that matters. Plus big public relationships hardly last, everyone is always nosing into them and pointing out flaws.

"Today's the day," Jay said appearing next to me,

"Are you kidding me? It's 4 o'clock, it's the fucking hour," I said slumping against my locker,

"Don't be nervous,"

"I've passed nervous Jay, I'm now full blown panicking,"

"Wow, relax. Luke will understand,"

"We don't know that, it's technically cheating,"

"Well he kissed you and you didn't kiss back and you didn't feel anything, right?"

"Right,"

"Then it's all good," Jay said smiling at me, I narrowed my eyes at her but took a deep breath,

"Let's go to this fucking game," I mumbled walking to the football field. Most of the school were already sitting down when we finally got there and the boys were kicking the ball to each other, some sort of warm up.

"I don't understand what's so good about football," Jay said as we walked up the steps to were Gabby was sitting on her own observing people,

"Neither do I but our boyfriends and friends are on the team so we have to pretend to be fucking interested," I said,

"Wow, you really are panicking aren't you? You're never this mean,"

"I don't wanna," I complained as I sat down next to Gabby, who seemed happy about our presence,

"You don't want to what?" Gabby asked,

"Tell Luke that Michael kissed me," I answered,

"Wow, I hope that isn't how you tell Luke," Jay said, I looked at her,

"What?"

"That just rolled off your tongue like it was nothing," Jay said,

"Fuck! This is why I avoid these situations I lack empathy,"

"I think you'll do fine when you're in front of Luke," Gabby said,

"You think?" I asked,

"Yeah, just because you said it to me like it was nothing doesn't mean you'll say it to Luke like it's nothing,"

"Confusing but not confusing at the same time," Jay said,

"Yeah,"

"Thanks, I think the game is starting," Gabby said,

"How long are these games?"

"You've been to at least 5 games this season," Jay said,

"Haha, you think I actually attended these things? I went around pranking the school,"

"Did you put the yoghurt in Lucy's locker?"

"Damn right I did," I said, Jay laughed and gave me a high five,

"I have a feeling I have to sit through this one," I said,

"Yeah you do, if I have to you have to," Jay said, I groaned and got my phone out,

"Luke's looking at us and you're on your phone," Gabby said,

"He knows I don't enjoy these games,"

"Stop being a bad girlfriend and get off of your phone," Jay said taking it from me and putting it in her pocket,

"At least lock it,"

"It's locked," She said glaring at me,

"Has it started?" I asked,

"No, kick off is now," Gabby answered, we looked at her,

"I watch football with my dad,"

"Awww," Jay and I cooed, she blushed and looked back at the game,

"At least someone knows what's going on," I mumbled to Jay who nodded her head,

"I might pretend to go the toilet halfway through," Jay whispered,

"I'll join you," I said.

45 minutes later the first half finished,

"That's just the first half?" I asked Gabby,

"Yeah, there's another one,"

"Is it equally as long?" I asked,

"Yeah,"

"Oh my God, kill me now," Jay said, Gabby and I laughed at her as she mumbled curse words under her breath,

"Bell," Luke said running up the stands and over to me,

"What's up?" I asked following him down the stairs and into a secluded part of the field,

"I need to talk to you,"

"About what?" I asked,

"After the game, it's killing me. What do you want to tell me?"

"Luke, I don't want to put you off your game,"

"Oh my God, you're not pregnant are you?"

"What?! God no, don't just assume things like that," I snapped at him,

"Sorry, sorry," He said,

"Bell," Michael warned running over,

"What Michael?" I snapped,

"Don't tell him,"

"Tell me what?" Luke asked,

"Nothing," Michael answered quickly,

"Michael I can't keep this from him," I said,

"Yes you can,"

"No I can't!"

"Why not?!" He shouted,

"BECAUSE IT'S BIG!" I screamed at him,

"Can someone tell me what's going on?!" Luke shouted,

"Yes," I said,

"No," Michael snapped,

"Michael I swear," I said,

"Bella no,"

"Yes Michael,"

"No not now! The game,"

"I was going to wait till after the game but he came up to me," I said,

"Someone tell me!" Luke shouted clearly agitated at how childish Michael and I were being,

"Fine I'll show you!" Michael snapped grabbing my face and pulling me towards him. He kissed me forcefully and then pulled away walking away quickly. I stood there stunned while Luke stood next to me with a shocked and hurt expression.

God Michael could have just told Luke instead of kissing me again. Now it's worse because he's kissed me twice.

"Luke," I said looking at him, he shook his head and walked away.

Fuck.
