As I ran after Luke I couldn't help but think how much faster I would be if I actually did sports, but then I scratched that thought because sports meant exercising and I'm not that kind of person.
"Luke please!" I shouted, he was quite far ahead so it was getting quite pointless,
"Leave me alone Isabella!" Luke shouted, he had turned to look at me but without realising that a locker was open, he ran into it,
"LUKE!" I screamed picking up my pace and sliding next to him, he was groaning with pain and holding a spot above his eye,
"Here let me see," I said moving his hand away, he had a little cut and it was bleeding slightly,
"It's bleeding a bit," I said taking my jacket off and applying pressure with the sleeve,
"I don't need your help," Luke said,
"Tough, you're getting it,"
"Why are you so stubborn?"
"I was friends with Michael remember," I joked,
"Was?"
"Past tense," I said,
"So you're not anymore?"
"Nope, he ruined one of the best things in my life,"
"I hope you mean me otherwise this is awkward," He said laughing slightly,
"Of course I mean you,"
"Good," He said,
"I'm sorry,"
"What for?"
"Not telling you Michael kissed me sooner,"
"It's fine, I suppose I'll always be second best to Michael,"
"Second best? What are you talking about?" I asked,
"I see the way you look at him,"
"I look at him like I look at Gabby and Jay,"
"No you don't, it's different," He said,
"Then you don't see the way I look at you,"
"I suppose not," He said,
"Congratulations on the win,"
"Thanks,"
"I saw your goal," I said,
"You did?"
"Yep, I left but I came back for you," I said laughing quietly,
"You came back for me?"
"I'm not letting you go that easy, I mean that in a completely normal way not an obsessed ex girlfriend kind of way," I said,
"I know, I know,"
"I understand if you don't want to be with me or see me ever again but Luke I need you to tell me right now,"
"You want me to tell you whether I want to see you again?"
"It's better than not knowing," I said looking at him, he nodded his head and thought for a minute. It was the longest minute and 34 seconds of my life, I had to count to stop myself over thinking.
"I don't know," He said,
"If you don't know, let me go," I said,
"What?"
"If you're never going to know then let me go so we can both move on,"
"I like you a lot but I just think there's something between you and Michael," He said, I nodded my head and stood up,
