"Y/N NO!" his voice muffled into your ears.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You ran as fast as you could to the entrance of the hospital, Steve stopped you before you ran out of the building. "y/n, what's wrong?" he stood in front you, holding onto your arms.

"I just want to go home, please." you begged, trying to break free from his strong grip.

He let out a sigh and nodded.

--time skip--

You were back at the tower alone, Steve went back to get the rest. You stood in the middle of the living room where you and Bucky shared, it felt empty, not physically but emotionally because Bucky wasn't there. Why did I run away? you thought to yourself. You loved Bucky as much as he loved you, but you didn't have to courage to say it before, you didn't want to ruin the friendship you had together, now things are way different, you felt sorry for you've done and wished that HYDRA kept you locked up like they did.

"Jarvis--" you slowly walked towards your room.

"Yes y/n?"

"Is anybody living upstairs?"

"No, there isn't. Is there something you'd like to do, Ms.l/n?"

"Can you help me pack all my stuff and place it upstairs?"

"Well, I'll have to ask Mr. Stark, I'll get back to you as soon as possible." Tony can't know about this, He'll surely say no.

"You know what Jarvis, it's okay, I'll just be upstairs, you don't have to bring my stuff up there."

"Are you sure about that Ms. l/n?"

"Yeah." you walked back to the elevator and headed up. You stepped out, the view up here was better than the one below, the shadow of the tower stretched onto the buildings below, diminished building from afar.

"Would you like to lock down this floor for you?" Jarvis interrupted your thought.

"No it's fine, just don't let anyone know that I'm here." They called it the Avengers Tower for a reason, it belongs to everyone, you felt selfish if you were to lock down the floor for yourself again.

You sat down in the corner next to the glass window, pulling up your knees to your chest. The only thing you could hear was your own breath, your every move made echos in the room.

"Ms. l/n, they're back." his voice filled the room with loud echos.

"And Bucky?" you said while still sitting in the same position for almost an hour thinking about Bucky.

"Mr. Barnes too."

"Alright--" you pulled your knees closer to you.

Bucky was the first to enter the building and straight to the floor you both shared, he was anxious. All he wanted was to hold you in his arms in the first time since you were kidnapped, he wanted to tell you how much he loved you and that he'll protect you with his life, he wanted you to be his. The doors opened, he searched the whole floor for you but you weren't there. You could almost hear everything from above but you just stayed there.

"You said she came back?" Bucky voice coming below.

"She did, I watched her come in." It was Steve. "Jarvis, where's y/n."

"I'm sorry, I don't know." you rolled your eyes, out of all the things he could say, he said he doesn't know, an A.I should do better than 'I don't know'.

"Jarvis--" Steve questioned Jarvis. You could hear more people came in, there was everybody but Vision.

"You know that you're bad at hiding right?" Vision popped his head up from the ground along with his body. He scared you and you knocked your head onto the window next to you.

"Ouch! Vis! I'm gonna tell Wanda you didn't use the door again!" you stood up, he just stared at you.

"Everybody is looking for you--" he paused. "Perhaps you might want to make your presence known? Barnes is freaking out." He gestured towards the elevator. Perhaps it is time to stop being somebody you're not, you're y/n, y/n that everybody loves. you thought to yourself.

"Alright--" you dragged your gaze up to Vision who was waiting for you in the elevator.

"Please don't tell Wanda that--I didn't use the door?" you turned to him, he looked nervous.

"Oh, I'm gonna tell her for sure, don't worry." you put on smirk on your face. The doors opened, you froze again, everyone's voice toned down as Vision stepped out. He gave you a slight nod and you slowly stepped out. You pulled the front collar of Bucky's hoodie onto the bridge of your nose, only showing your e/c eyes and ears.

"y/n?" a pair of icy blue orbs locked on you.

"Bucky--" you pulled down the fabric off your face and looked down at your feet. "I'm so sorry for what happened, I--" before you could finish, a pair of strong arms pulled you into a strong embrace and lifted you up from the ground.

"I could care less about that, all I care about is you--"Bucky nuzzled his face into the crook of your neck. "I missed you so much doll." warm patches of tears formed on the hoodie you were wearing, your throat tingling as a cry formed when you heard his voice.

"I missed you to Bear." you wrapped you arms around his neck, holding onto him like your life depends on it. He put you down and pulled away.

"I love you, doll. I won't let anyone take you away from me ever again."

"I love you too, bear." your lips connected with his, butterflies going crazy in your stomach, it never felt better.

"Alright lovebirds are you done?" Tony's voice came from the side. You feel Bucky smile on your lips, you both pulled way slowly, you fall back onto his chest and listening to his heartbeat while everyone was staring at you guys with teary eyes.
