(29) Mate?

AN: this chapter took a while to upload because I had to rewrite it, I accidentally deleted it and was pissed off to write it again

Mate?

" Missed me?" Iris smirks

I can't believe Ibenez is actually in front of me, he is here and I'm not daydreaming.

I don't realise i am walking up to the beta and wrapping my arms around him until there's a loud growl and we're being separated.

I end up behind an angry Andrés, Ibenez eyes widen as André's towers over him snarling at him then it hits me Andrés is going to hurt him.

I quickly move to stand in between them, this kind of reminds me of the other night when I thought I was strong enough to stand up to the alpha but Cameron got hurt.

"Andres this is my friend," I tell the alpha looking into his dark eyes, I know by now his wolf has completely taken over.

"your boyfriend?" Andrés growls

technically he is a boy that is a friend - "NO!"

"why are you here?" Andrés growls " and I'd be very careful with your answer because I will rip your heart out if I am unsatisfied"

I don't move, but I do look back at a terrified Ibenez. This is the first time I've seen him scared "it's okay he's not going to hurt you" I assure him

"of course he is, Amma!" Ibenez whisper-shouts " you do realise that he is a rogue! that they're all rogues!"

"you say that as if it's a bad thing" I hear Cameron familiar voice say then I spot the alpha limping towards the table.

Samael pulls out a chair for him and Cameron sits down groaning painfully.

I sigh and turn back to Andrés "  he's not here to cause harm" I tell him

"how are you so sure?" Teivel growls

I look at Iris who was leaning at the wall inspecting her nails like she had no care in the world "iris, you got him here" I speak getting her attention " why?"

"well, he was looking for you so I brought him to you" she shrugs

I groan " thanks"

"brother, Amma is right he is not going to try and hurt us" Cameron speaks "beside it's not like he could if he tried"

oh, thank goddess.

"i'll have you know i am the strongest warrior in my pack" Ibenez growls

not now, bad timing to try prove yourself.

"answer the question" Samael speaks up "why are you here?"

"i'm here for Amma of course" Ibenez replies grabbing my wrist " i appreciate you looking after her but she doesn't belong here"

i try to pull my wrist back but his hold is too strong, Ibenez turns around ready to leave.

"where do you think you're going buddy?" Cameron asks suddenly in front of us

the look on cameron eyes told me to run but what kind of friend runs away from her friend? 

i stay put. Ibenez takes a protective stance in front of me. " I don't want trouble, that being said if you try to harm Amma I will snap your neck"

cameron smirks "like this?"

He does the motion so fast grabbing, the betas chin and the back of his neck and twisting it to the other side that I don't react until I hear the cracking of Ibenez neck.

I scream just in time as his limp body falls to the ground that's when it happens everything around me turns into a blur as the floodgates open, I let out a sob resting my head on Ibenez chest.

it is all my fault! if ibenez hadn't come looking for me then cameron wouldn't have killed him.

cameron, that monster! I raise my head and look at alpha with a tearful glare, I hate him.

there is a  warm hand on my shoulder that sent sparks through me " Amma, stand up" Andrés orders

I push his hand off my shoulder but it comes back, I growl and grab his hand but then he grabs my hand and with a swift move he lifts me to my feet.

something in me changes when I see his face and I open my mouth to tell him that i hate his brother but he beats me to it.

"he's not dead"

"what?" i sniffle looking at Ibenez on the ground and back at Andrés brown emotionless eyes

"he's going to wake up any minute now" he answers

I don't know why i do, what i do next, but i am going to blame it on how relieved i am, because i find myself snuggling into the alpha chest, I wanted to go in for a hug but seeing how he was holding on to my wrist that was impossible.

i felt awkward so i clear my throat " this is where you hug me back" i whisper to him

I feel his body tense and he lets go of my wrist so i wrap my arms around his waist smiling in happiness.

we stay like that for a few seconds until i feel his arms wrap around me. His embrace was warm, and his big, strong arms seemed very protective when wrapped around my body. The world around me melted away as I squeezed him back, not wanting the moment to end

the moment does come to end though when a heaving Ibenez sits up  coughing "what the hell just happened?!" he barks

"uh, you hit your head on the wall on your way out" Cameron gulps

Slowly I untangle from Andrés my wolf didn't want to leave the warmth but I needed to be with Ibenez right now.

I crouch down to his level and pull him to a hug " I thought I lost you"

A loud growl makes me let go and Ibenez and i freeze, it wasn't from Andrés it was from Dave.

"Mate" he growls looking at Ibenez

I wasn't planning on mating dave with ibenez I swear, it just happened...or did it?

we're going ignore how long I didn't upload and just focus on how I can cure writer's block. I really need help guys and I really am sorry for the long wait, I'm such a bitch I know!!
